Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Flat is my current favorite. It's so funny and entertaining to watch. The plot is unpredictable and captivating. While some may pass this anime off as just another harem anime, they couldn't be more wrong.

I'd say Naruto. I know, it's a classic mainstream anime but I watched it after seeing about 100 different animes and *snap* it became my favorite.
Second place... mmhh... Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (I like the brotherhood more).
Now I'm currently watching One Piece to see if it can steal Naruto's place. :D
