What are your opinions about AI generated otome voice/games

If I see or hear AI at all while looking at the marketing of a game I'm no longer interested. I'd rather someone use amateur art or little to none (such as Interactive Fiction) than using AI art. There's no excuse for AI music either as there are so many tracks available to choose from. Like others have said, it is such a deterrent and reads as low-effort.

An indie demo I was interested in came back years later now with AI usage for voice acting...
I was actually interested in buying it when it released (and really, all these years just to add AI voice files to the game and no new story content?!)!!!!

AI is already a contemporary trend and cannot be avoided, but I only accept CDs of fan works and use AI to generate covers. A small fan community that is not yet famous, it costs a lot of money just to hire a voice actor to dub, not to mention the painter, a cover picture also costs money.

AI is only used by me for simple and quick search. I won't believe everything. It has been missed.

If the works are all created by AI, I don't have much interest. I like stories written slowly by human resources.

Let's be honest, apart from stealing work and being an environmental disaster, AI sucks, it has no soul, no emotion, it just mimics.
Sadly AI is very important right now, big companies use it to earn more money. And Japan..., well I moved out from Japan a year ago, and even last year AI was everywhere. Compared to other countries, I think Japan have the biggest user base.
I never came across AI otome cd thankfully but AI "art" is everywhere. Let's just hope that the AI bubble pops sooner rather than later, because Japan will never stop using it if it's available...

A huge NO. The more AI-generated art becomes normalized, the more it's obviously going to hurt actual artists and push their work out. And on top of that, these models are literally trained on existing artists' work without their consent?? Absolutely hate that.

Absolutely despise anything connected to AI (unless related to a medical field). Otome and BL creators already have it hard, supporting AI garbage will not help them.
