I went to the scans of the manga on manga reader and I see that there are 8 episodes plus a X episode that splits 4 and 5 (becoming chiru? Not sure if they are related in story at all, but they share episode number chronically) . It says that each episode is ongoing, so I was wondering how are they supposed to be read? Do I read all there is for episode 1 then go to episode 2? Or are the episodes completely separate, as in 8 ish story arcs running at the same time that are separate (I watched most of the anime, but even in the anime the *episodes* or games were related slightly to each other)?

Episode 1-4 is the question arc and episode 5-8 is the answers arc. Episode 1 question correspond with the answers in episode 5 and so on. The godawful anime only cover the question arc, barely. You are supposed to read the chronologically.

Anyway, it is better if you read the VN first. The manga and the anime are supplementary material. They are supposed to be service for those who have read the VN. All the VN (Episode 1-8) have an english patch you can download at the WitchHunt site.

You can buy the VN for cheap or grab a torrent somewhere (google it).

Remember that all link contributions will be re-uploaded as best as possible. Keep in mind that some will not be available because they can no longer be found. So I will see if they are still sold digitally. I hope they are available.
I don't know if it's because of the times when users are more active. But if you have the possibility to download a torrent file, at least keep it on your PC for some time so that it can be shared, or at least upload it to a cloud storage service like MEGA or MediaFire, etc.
