I just got the Destiny Knot, when do you need it? Did you breed any charmanders?
 
I still have the Charmander I got from Sycamore :3

It's a great breeding item. If one of the parents is holding it, 5 IV's of either parent is guaranteed to be passed down to the egg pokemon. Which is amazing o.o

And just to make sure I don't usually trade items, so in order to do that I will have to have one of my Pokémon holding the Destiny Knot when I trade it correct?
 
*ehehe* Yeah. You can get perfect IVs in less than an hour or take days. Depends on your luck. :goodtea:

Meloetta is unobtainable in X/Y as of yet.
We'll be able to when Pokemon Bank comes out and when ca transfer our pokes from the previous game.
