Need some help remembering the name of an anime.

i do not remember much other than it was a romance anime based in high school the main male character liked bread crust(that is what i think they were called in the show) and before the current events in the show moved away(i think to a farm) and and also he developed the crush on the female protagonist just before he moved when she gave him a piece of candy(which he kept the wrapper) he is thin now but when he was a kid he was fat.
