Paid or not, the wrong sending off was irrelevant tactically. We were already 2 down + a penalty.
When you use the same starting 11 and the same tactics over and over again, against teams with totally different styles of play, it implies negligence. Arteta is old and tired, and is played 90 minutes again and again for how long I don't bother to remember, and he was started against the likes of Schürrle and Hazard. I actually expected an energetic Flamini, to play.
And Ox is our fastest guy in the MF and a natural winger so it should be a no brainer that he is played a winger, but lo he was placed in the center!
And when we conceded the first goal what was our left back doing in the opponent's box! You don't press as high as Mt. Everest when your opponent is a speed powerhouse. In the contrary our offense had no power or speed whatsoever so they were allowed to press hard.
Finally, why was the manager's ass still glued to the chair when we were already 2 down?! No motivation or instruction whatsoever. I don't know what he has learned from the 1000 games he managed (the last 500 of which are crappy) but the Chelsea fans chanting "We want you to stay forever" pretty sums up everything. I'm sure you'd laugh if you heard it.
Sounds pretty good to me Frank. Didn't see the complete game (same time my local team played second division) so I switched... But it was a day, where the players from Chelsea could stand around and they will still get every 2nd or 3rd ball. Flamini gave some spice into the game but it was already too late. Arsene made some special decisions, right. Only against the big teams they're playing so pitiful
