were planning to try playing dark souls later by taking turns and switching places when the other dies

he was kinda scared to play at first but he said he wants to give it a try now

isnt he admirable :fulfilled:
 
Ohhh thats quite something.. I played Dark Souls too and beat it... Somehow..
I can't even remember how many times I died, best of luck then~
 
i love dark souls~ its so simple just keep going and kill all you see as you make urself stronger and more skilled
 
I just like the difficulty in it..~ Its hard to find a game where even the very first mob can kill you if you aren't careful.
 
yea that game is FAR more than just lvling up as even at lvl 100 you can get killed by small fries if you let ur guard down

but if u get the hang of it it really feels like u r really skilled y,know
 
Yes yes..~ Like beating bosses makes you feel quite the good guy~ (Or girl in my part.)
But its just so hard with bosses as even one swipe can kill you sometimes.. ;w;
 
Hmm... So levels dont make that big of a difference?...

One swipe from a boss... x3 Guess that is quite... hard... seems like a game that is on hard mode from the start xD
 
lvling can make a huge difference as you will see in the end game but u dont really notice just how big a dif it really makes until then

i really hate it when im fighting some really tuff guy tho and i've got him down to like 5% health and then he gets in a good shot and kills me even though i have full health...if i was the type to rage i would have thrown my controller into my tv more times than i could count
 
Yes leveling doesn't do a ton till later, but the equipment and how you fight also matter alot.
And I know that one sooooo bad... With the final boss.. he's just so hard, I think I fought him like 50+ times just because he was so fast.. >.<
 
whenever i tried to fight him on my own i just gave up pretty much immediately and just waited at the entrance for someone to drop down their summon sign >.>
 
Hmm... so its just minor differences that add up?...

Fighting... what type works well? xD It was somewhat sword and spears like from what i heard? xD
 
I was rather persistant and kept going... and since I'm.. I guess you might as well call it silly.
I didn't want to use the summon signs either.. x3

Alot of weapons really... you got axes, swords, katana's, spears, bows.. magic..
Its mostly the combination of things that work..
I had super heavy armor with a gaint sword..~
 
i rather like summoning others

it gives you a perspective on other play styles and how strong u are in comparison to others

there is really no "best" play style...just try out a bunch of dif things and find what works best for you sam-kun~
 
mhmm~ But still I hardly used them.

I've seen alot of people go for swords with a light-ish armor.. I really can't work with that since I kept screwing up my camera at times and rolled the wrong way.. :c
So I instead chose for alot of hp+stamina and super heavy armor~
 
Well... guess theres no "overpowered" in that game? xD And summoning others... Well i guess that makes it quite a bit easier depending who they are... xD

I like speed quite a bit... so might be going for lightish armor... xD Maybe hiding and using range as well... though i guess thats probably limited x3
 
im one of the light armored with sword types myslef lol but yea my main deaths were from falling so i can more than understand that >.>

actually sam while bows arent really a very viable choice during boss battles they can actually be real good once you get the hang of them

i even got one guy who came and PK'ed me using only bows and poisoned throwing knives lol

pretty much everyone uses bows in some way as they can be very useful in pretty much any situation
 
Bows are very handy but mostly they are a support weapon I think...
I did litrally love using the dragon bow though, those arrows knocked down so many tough enemies..~
