I see. My sense of taste doesn't ever seem to work in my dreams. Smell as well. Funnily enough, my sight is the only thing that improves when I dream. Then I wake back up to reality.

The only senses that work in a dream are sight and sound. I do not know about the other three, but there may be some exceptions.
