Eye Spy & What Am I?

Could it be a lion?
Cuz:
The male is the leader, but he rarely does a thing. Pride, and strength, determine who the leader is. There is a fish named Pterois, but commonly referred to as lionfish. (Here's an image of the fish)

I must be getting lucky..........

Ok, my turn.

I spy with my little eye, a silvery item that is far from my grasp. Long has it been associated with the sea, and surrounded by words from the ancient greek and latin. Perhaps right now I may see it from my window, but it may take a few hours for you to witness what I see. So tell me, can you guess what I spy?

Hint' not everything is to be taken literal.

Eye spy~
A golden globe that can light the sky~
Slowly wandering on its way~
Dragging us along to play~
A dance of eternity~
Lost to memory~
 
Though said it was made of fire
Hydrogen lit its heart
As it spins we dance like its marionettes
Waiting to the symphony of its demise
Could Helios be thy name?
Or perhaps a more common one?
Is it you Sun?

Ok, next one:
Though my body is made from would, my soul derives from my owner. Together a symphony may be created or perhaps a simple melody. From the chords that I sing with fingers crawl from my arm from top to bottom. If the bridge I own were to be broken, the strings that give me a voice shall cease to sound. What am I?
 
Fragile leaves piled on top~
Marked by man and earth~
Rows within rows we lay~
Waiting day by day~
For one to walk by~
And pick us out~
One by one we disappear~
Reappearing to wait again~
The sands flow down speck by speck~
And some are gone forever~
What am i?
