Do you play games in Early Access, or wait for the full release?

I always wait for the full release! Having cliffhangers between unfinished routes or dealing with bugs completely ruins the immersion, so I'd much rather binge the entire, polished story all at once.

I usually wait for full release except in cases where the early access offers full routes one by one and i know the developer's style and really love the game, art...etc

Also , Devs Should Learn How To Downsize And How It's Okay To Release A Small Game ~ Not Everything Has To Be A Demo , Please ! I Am Saddened To Look Upon The Itch.Io Demo Graveyard Of Never Evers , It Sucks . .

Even Worse . . When It's A R18 Game And You Just Get Blue Balled For Patreon That Has Hardly Anything , I Got Baited . . .

Omggg i agree!! Nowadays almost every game on itchio is a demo!? It's so frustrating especially coz few of the demos I had an eye for a long period of time are just abandoned with no updates at all. It's probably the reason I no longer download any game from there.

AAAHH this is exactly what I was thinking about recently.. I bought Fields of Mistria (totally unrelated to otome games I know but still cute) on steam during early access cuz i was SURE i would like it, but i just refused to play it until it came out of early access officially... cuz things would definitely change and i usually dont like to replay games..
for otome or bl games its more like 'im not sure if the game will be completed so i shouldnt start something i might end up liking and never get to finish playing'.. plus its more often than not going to be rather buggy ;X
