Do you consider gameplay to be important in otome games?

How much do you care about gameplay and game systems? Combat? Development? Stats? If you care about these things, and you'd like, please let me know your recommends.

I like visual novels, including kinetic novels, so I wouldn't say it's "important" to me in what I'd enjoy, but I really do wish there was more stuff with gameplay for a female audience, otome or not. Stuff like P3P. Guys get as much cool stuff as they want:/

In fact, the gameplay and combat system of the game are not important to me. If the game has complex systems, it may even affect my gaming experience more. I enjoy playing visual novel games with pure text stories. This is great for me!

If the gameplay and story are well integrated, that's great, of course.
To be honest, if I'm just watching the story, I usually just leave it playing as background music.

Not important at all, i actually prefer only story or story with very minimal gameplay/combat....etc. It actually takes me out of the story and the world and frustrates me if they are too hard to deal with.

I don't think its important at all! But sometimes I wish few Otome games will come out which will be full blown JRPG...or rather a full 3d JRPG (like Persona games or Atelier games or Final Fantasy games etc) will have Otome elements with Heroine choosing Male LIs~ That'll be dreamy~~
