Hmm evaluation.... Mehs i sort of assumed that the dragons being part of the chopsticks would mean that talking about the dragons would also be talking about the chopsticks though i guess not xD
Pointy hair... well yes i suppose it is...
Shades... yes i need darker shades >.< dont have that charcoal with me and i think the charcoal would smudge even more than the pencil...

True there should be some darker shading but I love how you drew her eyes and the expression of it
I can never draw characters from a side view(_ _l|) or back
the hair is drawn great
Has shades and most anime characters have pointy hair;D nothing wrong there
She reminds me of Himari (Omamori Himari) a bit

Lol the expression sort of came from just practicing the eyes a dozen times and seeing what looks better (google stuff)~ I mostly practiced forward facing though so that didnt turn out too useful for this xD
Actually the shading is somewhat darker but the camera isnt the greatest and the lighting isnt idea either :/ But yes i generally draw too light... which is actually useful during the initial stages of drawing~
Yes i drew the hair as i saw it in some models... i didnt quite get the shading for the hair to satisfactions though and i didnt feel like erasing/redrawing the hair... erasing has its own problems...
Hmm yes she does look similar to Himari with that bit of hair in the middle (slightly different but same overall shape) The hair in front is longer with Shiina but that doesnt show here xD

I just noticed i never got around to making designs on the kimono... D: /me facefloor into jello
