I'm pretty sure that site like a few others requires registration and even if you do register, you still don't have easy access to the games. Like you need to have certain points and such
Pretty much. Unless you speak Chinese and can participate, you're not getting the game. Maybe some kind peson hasan account there and can reupload the games and share?

Not only you have to be very active and post continuously on forums like that one, you also have to gain levels of access - meaning that the games like this one have a high level of access available only to accounts with active history over 2-3 years, and you can be banned pretty easy if they see you reuploaded it somewhere else. I know from experience of my friend who had an account on one of those forums. Unfortunately, the Chinese are very wary and strict to their forum members, which to my opinion has both pros and cons.

Please see above, I already explained how the Chinese forums work. The message everyone gets says that members below level 5 of access cannot view this content. I repeat myself - Chinese do not share games with people out of their forums, unless it is reuploaded somewhere else.
And the one reuploading would be banned from the forum forever. I think if just each of the people requesting here contributes some money together, like 3-5$ each, that will be more than enough to buy both versions =.=" As u can see that recently there's hardly anyone uploading new game early anymore, especially in place with no guarantee of protecting their efforts. I saw many many games uploaded here eventually gets reuploaded on many blogs without the uploader's consent. Just try buying a copy you'll see how costly it is =.= (back then I was just like you guys, but later on, after buying some game copies, I understood). So my points are: don't steal other people's efforts without their consent and if you can't buy the game alone, just share the money to buy it together. I really hope the number of people spending their money on the game would increase eventually thanks to this situation as now. And more importantly, that'll help the producer as well, for more R18 games to come in the future.

You just said out loud my own thoughts about the otome download section's situation, though I already shared my worries with some fellow members and with a representative of the admin group. Unfortunately, the idea of resurrecting "crowd-founded" uploads is not welcome anymore due to new rules and AS policy. If you'd like to know more you're welcome to PM me.

Of course not here on AS as it is no longer allowed but maybe on a different site. It might be a bit tricky because anything that involves money is kind of tricky and requires a lot of trust but it might be worth giving it a try. :)

The solutions exist, either opening a closed facebook group or joining a disqus channel (I prefer the second one) would be the best solutions imho, but there are some important points that should be addressed.Wouldn't it be possible to create our own group that works with donations?
First, is who will run them, be responsible and be engaged on the level to not quit it all of a sudden without finding a replacement. Second, are the potential donators who should be limited in number and of certain level of credibility (for obvious reasons). Moreover, in my mind the purpose of such a group would be sharing the costs of buying expensive games (and some otome games are really expensive, especially the JP ones), enjoying playing them and not redistributing them afterwards elsewhere.

I've never used a disqus channel before but I'm open for anything that can be made private. :)
The first point is probably a bit more difficult since everyone can claim they're responsible and won't quit suddenly. We just have to wait and see I suppose. As for the second point, how about anyone is welcome to join but they will only get access to the games they've donated for. This way there will be no leechers nor will someone be forced to donate for a game they're not even interested in. I think people who are willing to donate are less suspectible of redistributing secretly.
I know what you mean. I was thinking that if such a group was created we could all vote for the more trustworthy person (who is of course offering to do it). It'd be a great advantage (although not necessarily a requirement imo) if said person also has experiences in cracking games and buying stuff from Japan, just to avoid possible complications.
Edit: Just wanted to add that we don't necessarily have to limit this to Japanese otome games only. We could also add English games if the demand is high enough.
