Anime Sharing - Netorare General Discussion Thread

Hmmmm... Hello everyone. I have not been around for awhile but it's good to see people are still excited about Marina. When I heard the news there will be a new Marina project, I was more worried about it than excited.

Here are my worries.
1. The game concluded with happily ever after and there would be no more netorase because obvious concern of Kenji and Marina breaking up. It would be a stretch to say that they went back to it.
2. If it is a in between story, for example, it takes between first game and second game, then the storyline would be mediocre. Simply 2nd game and third game addressed and pushed Marina's limit sexually and emotionally without resulting in divorce. So the in between story would be about ok to good sex with a random guy which would be disappointing.
3. If it is a parallel world, then it really is not a Marina game.

So those are my concerns but then my imagination stated to fly and started building a wish list lol. Here are the list of things I wanted to see but never realized in Marina games, not in order.
1. Marina as a bride of her bull.
2. Wedding ring play, like Lovemilf game.
3. Knocked up by her bull, gets an abortion in secret.
4. Anal sex.
5. Dye her hair blonde and goes on a date with her bull in a slutty outfit.

One of the earlier Atelier Sakura game featured a cheating wife who got knocked up by her lover. The husband found out by finding her abortion paper she hidden in the house. I know the storyline would not be like that game but I always wished the next Marina game to follow something like that game's story line. Something like Marina have an affair, not serious, just a little mistake while drunk or something like that but then it becomes more deep and serious that Marina gets knocked up. Kenji notices Marina's belly and makes comment and Marina decides to get an abortion. And kenji does not find out until few years after the end of the affair and decides to not to mention anything and stays in the marriage.

Maybe I am over excited and ended up getting disappointed when the game comes out...

Well all we know for sure as stated by Atelier Sakura themselves is that it IS a sequel to Marina 3, because Kenji asks her to netorase play again and she agrees (to his shock after the events of the last game). So the poll is to decide who Kenji picks this time for her new partner.

Beyond that we know nothing.

So its been confirmed via his twitter that the original artist for Marina is returning to do the artwork. He also stated that if the "project" is well received, he would be interesting in doing a sequel with Mayumi for 貸し出し妻、真由美の"ネトラセ"報告 商品ページ with Kouichi from Marina 2.

Not exactly new... It's just the package edition. Game first came out back in 2018... It is NTR but it didn't leave an impression with me. Was too generic.

Edit: oops. Had another page and question was already answered(in the exact same way too.. coincidence..)

I pick chief from Mariko. I vote for him because i think it will be interesting if he wins. That's mean he will have sex with two kashidashi series heroines, Mariko and Marina. I forgot about other guys, but Chief in first Mariko game is great on sex. Not only he is goodlooking, he has great stamina and can hold his ejaculation very well. I know velka leaves it out trying to give devs some sales- but games uploaded more recently are being completed and this one still without all it's parts..

Been really unimpressed with Autonoes previous games- and this one looks like it has too many characters for any meaningful ntr genre. But synopsis(and review) implies this one is a bit different in perspective. So figured i'd give it a try.

Yeah, to be honest unless it's going to get really dark I don't think it will ake much difference who the guy ends up being. Gentle Sasaki has drawn very hardcore stuff in the past (in other games) so he'd probably be willing. My preference would be;

Marina doesn't really like the guy, but looses to the cock.
New positions and sex acts. Not much point seeing more 'vanilla'. Could be interesting if she has deveolped a bit of a 'rape' fetish after the events of 3.
Kenji shouldnt be there for most scenes. Far more interesting if she is doing things away from him.

What i am going to say is an example of how i would turn this series into ntr to give you an idea: the senpai is actually with another guy and slowly brainwashes the other followers until by the end the harem turns on him on the final battle. Pretty bare bones but i thin it gives you the idea.

Frankly the background of almost any revene novel out there works if we see from the beginin and there isn't revenge (bad guy wins basically)

Quite weird to thinks that sub that dedicated to NTR rarely discuss about NTR games ( I know about lack of translation but they can just use translator right). Like wtf these people have been missed a whole lot of NTR contents.
 
To all Marina fans, I think that if you expect Marina to be snatched away this time, you are going to get really disappointed. I think that for two reasons:

1. If AS did that, they will be killing their golden eggs goose, and;
2. They don't have the balls for it.

So no matter which netori guy wins, this will just turn out to be a copy-paste of previous Marina games. This is pretty obvious if you look at their games. They are mostly copy-paste of the same games over and over with different characters and slightly changed scenario. So if you liked previous Marina games, great!, but if you expect something more, I think you are going to get disappointed. Marina will never leave Kenji, there will not be "happy ending" either. The ending will be as harmless and vainilla as you can expect from previous games.

It almost seems to me that AS don't understand what we NTR fans want. I feel like they just clone their games because they sell, but they don't really understand why they sell. This becomes more obvious when you compare AS with other developers that actually know what they are doing:

1. Sixth Flowerbed knows that we like stealth sex, so they focus on that kind of settings.
2. Venus knows that we like the NTR to hit hard, so they take their time with their stories. Also they practically created the lock-camera-angle scenes.
3. Rascou knows how to deliver the slow corruption without the need to turn the heroine into a retarded cock-junkie.

There are more, but I think those samples are enough. These developers understand what we want, and they focus on that. I don't get that feeling from AS. I feel like AS blindly try things, and if they sell they keep doing it, if they don't sell, they try something else blindly to see if it sells... and from time to time they return to their golden eggs gooses to grab some easy cash.

So I'll just sit back here and wait (hope) AS makes me swallow my words... but I doubt they will.

Not exactly what you are looking for but I think you would enjoy Kon'in Ryokou if you haven't play it already. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll only say that even though there are no "chosen one" or "leading a lot of girls", the betray factor is definitely there. It's short so try to play it to the end, I think you won't be disappointed.

Thanks i will see how big it is, or maybe i even have it? years ago i downloaded a couple of Morning Star games and never got around to them. Any trick to hook it i need to know? i remember one game from them needed one i think. Also you nailed it, what i want is a real sense of betrayal, although i still want a fantasy netorare game where the bad guy wins muahahahaha, like P Herb's Emblem work

Per your Marina/AS observations I figure the story will be one of two things - basic run of the mill - "ok lets do this again Kenji! Good old fashion netorase!" next er...non numbered game in the series? or "we're making this for the fans and the fans decide"

I don't THINK that last one is going to be what I think it could be, BUT they could have polls regarding the story and what direction fans want it to go - as it IS a game "for" the fans to have input. We will know for sure after the poll closes picking another guy - and if they launch ANOTHER poll following it or possibly wait until next monday.

IF they do the later, then I would actually be MORE curious to see what fans vote for if they post the question "should things go too far and become more NTR then netorase for Kenji?" as in would fans vote yes or no for that. I know there are some hardcore NTR fans out there that would vote yes, but I think with the feedback I got working on my project a lot of fans want the netorase to stay netorase. But really I'd be interested to see how such a poll would go.

I don't know if there is a limit they must reach though for Marina, I mean they haven't made a game with her in 4 years and although she is popular yes - I don't think they really understand what fans want or why she is popular. The writer for the first games clearly said he didn't really understand the appeal of netorase itself and had difficulty writing a cohesive story throughout the series. Ending it with netorase is bad, dont do it kids!

But thats what sold the games and Marina herself, but not her having sex as a teenager lol.

I'm mostly surprised they didn't plan a sequel based on the character from the second prequel, I figured that was literally a build up for Marina 4 after playing it. Maybe where he comes back as a super rich guy and is willing to pay/support their family for Marina as a personal escort/aka Kenji gets Marina to prostitute herself because he could never find such a good lover as her or uses their videos to blackmail her for more sex, they originally refuse but Kenji gets her to do it anyway - so less blackmail and more...er pretend netorase blackmail? lol...I dunno.

I still think there is something off about this whole new game. Honestly there is just so much unknown.

I still believe there is something in the name change and that ! at the end.

Really its just a different "forum" for a different type of medium talk, I won't lie I come here to talk games and I go to reddit to look for new or interesting manga suggestions or NTR fan pictures because reddit is good for looking at pictures. Heck they don't talk about vids much in the reddit either for that matter, its just not the place to look.

So I think each platform is simply just better suited for discussion around different medium.

I disagree (not because your wrong) but I believe the wider community is exposed to NTR via illustrations, KP! screenshot stories and manga/doujin or anime as its just one click away and more prolific.

Eorge games are niche and require more then just pulling your pants down, but actual time investment. I have legit 30 eroge games installed waiting to be played - I want to play them all but HOLY hell do I have a lot of stuff going on looking for my time as most of us do. So for most people a picture is there go to NTR.

I'd argue that NTR has changed a lot because of this, back in the early 2000-15 , NTR was literally about the emotions of having your loved stolen or brought to a pleasure the main character didn't - and be utterly destroyed by it.

Yes there was different types, like seeing her pleasured, the feeling of humiliation of that. The difference was that the woman was very much not "wanting" her husband to know or witness it. Unlike cuckold porn where they both do it for each others pleasure or to rub it in each others face. NTR is about the emotions of defeat and pleasure.

Cuckold porn is about the pleasure of denial in a threesome which all parties have agreed to - ntr is not about agreement lol. Netorase falls in the middle, but its meant to be a "bad" fetish not something a couple should want because its based on base elements of emotional NTR.

Finally I'd argue the majority of NTR games are still played mostly by Japanese audiences. Hell I've had people write me about my Marina project who MIGHT have played the first english translated game but are more excited about it simple because its a NTR english visual novel game and have never played any other Marina game. A lot of people just don't want to bother with translation programs either.

Obviously its not true NTR, because often the wife/gf is unaware she is even being unfailthful. For me any hypno game is only "good" if it they become aware at some point. Like for example if they hypno is more suggestive, like they start doing things and are suddenly shocked they did them. Or allow things to happen in a trance before suddenly realizing what they are doing. I HATE when they spend the entire game in hypno trance and have no idea what they did especially when it ends without hypno and their just sluts (but have no idea why - that makes no sense)
 
Just played the newest Atelier Sakura game, its um...well I mean its original. Basically the main girl goes on a giant fuck-athon and there IS story content based on NTR (its mostly a...er revenge tale? sorta...?) Its ok...its not a bad game it just has...ironically too much sex. She does screw 20 guys and I dunno, it starts to feel all the same or just long winded. It literally goes from one sex scene to the next with a little bit of exposition between them. Its just...a lot of sex hhaa.
 
Marina... again. This time I would prefere to expect nothing, no hipe or even overhipe from me. I even try not to look on it. Low expectations for not being dissapointed when the game would not meet my expectations. Sounds like a strategy, well the plan is made :)
