Do you finish all routes or only your favorites?

Normally, I would play all the endings of all the characters to understand the overall picture of the game, as well as the dark sides that could completely happen with both the LIs and the MC. Sometimes, after playing thru all the endings, I end up liking that character more than my initial impression. For me, a well-invested game deserves to be explored in every nook and cranny. I guess I'm a completionist myself.

Unless the game is really bad, then I would drop it. Thanks to that, it takes me quite a long time to complete a game lol :akazukin_dash:

H
I usually stick to playing only the ones i'm interested in, but if the game requires finishing other routes to unlock certain characters, then I'll eventually play all of them and sometimes i even end up liking characters I didn't expect to like, which is kinda fun. :akazukin_sweat:
Honestly same here but if the game really is that good I'd try out other routes as well and surprisingly enough love characters that I did not expect to love like in To eat a god when I did unums route I surprised myself by loving him in the end of Act 2🤔.I as well do other routes as well if they reveal hidden stuff and secrets not mentions in other routes

In all kinds of harem-like games, I usually only play the routes I know I'll like and skip the rest. I notice a tendency to have two or three favorite love interests, though I do have exceptions like "Togainu no Chi". There isn't a single character I don't like in this game. It's one of my favorite BL visual novels of all time for a reason lol.

Most of the time, I only finish the route of my favorite character or the one that made me start playing... But if I find the game's story interesting and engaging, I finish all the routes to absorb as much of the narrative as possible.

I usually play all the routes for all the characters. Because I'd like to 100% my games with full unlocked CGs, etc.

I finished all of the routes because I just love getting 100% completion in games. Seeing how all the different storylines and endings wrapped up made the whole grind completely worth it!!!!

I typically only finish routes with my favourite characters, but sometimes my favourite ones must complete all other routes before I can access their specific route

I'll complete all routes if I think all of the characters are appealing enough. But if there's one character that stands out, I'll only do theirs or I'll complete the other characters first before the one I really like 🙊

I'm the type who likes to complete everything, but I'm not a fan of bad endings, so I always hesitate.
That's because if I see a bad ending, it gets burned into my mind and I can't shake it off.

I def finish everything! Apart from just wanting to complete everything, theres sometimes routes where it takes me a while to warm up to a LI but in the end I end up loving them!

I generally try to complete all routes. Since it's a game I bought because I liked it, I really want to finish it. However, if there's a character I don't particularly enjoy, my pace slows down considerably 😭

i play my favorites routes before i finish the entire game, it takes a little bit but if the game is really good i'll finish it all

If it's a game written by a scenario writer I especially enjoy, I'll always go for a full clear.
In other cases, when I encounter characters I don't really feel anything for or don't like,
I usually observe their words and actions in the story for a while first.
If I'm still not interested, I might just skip through their route.
But if a character shows a big contrast between the common route and their personal route,
that usually makes me curious to see how they change.
Or even if I can't really get into a character, if their route has other characters I like being very active,
that also makes me interested in what happens next.

I only finished all route if I actually like the game and all the cast but it's usually play for one route

I'm a completionist so not only do I finish all routes, but I also get every ending and go through every single choice just to see all the possible flavor text I can get. It can feel very accomplishing to complete the game 100% to see every character and their developments throughout the narrative, but it can give me a bit of a burnout sometimes ngl

I always try to finish everything, even the bad routes and all that, so I don't run into spoilers down the road, but sometimes I just have so many games to play that I'll play a few routes in one game and then go back to the previous one... It's a little confusing at times, but it works for me. ˙ᵕ˙
