  1. How did you discover the r18 cd scene?

A long time ago, I was listening to a situation CD suitable for all ages, and while I was looking to see if there was anything else out there, I came across an R18 CD on a website. That's how I discovered doujin CDs, and I've been listening to them ever since.
  2. Do you prefer playing on a portable device or on PC?

I like playing on handheld game consoles! It's nice to play on a big screen on my PC, but sitting for a long time is tough. With a handheld game console, I can play while lying down, and it's easy to stop whenever I want and pick it right back up, so I end up playing on handhelds more often.
  3. When do you usually listen to Otome CDs?

When I listen to drama CDs, I have to focus on the voices or I'll miss what's being said, so I can't do other things while listening—that's why I always listen to them before bed. Sometimes I play CDs I've already listened to as background music while I'm working.
  4. What do you think of female routes in otome games?

I like yuri works, and I especially like yuri between the main character and another girl, so I welcome female routes. However, a game with only yuri routes feels a bit lacking, so I'd like to play a game that has a few female routes alongside multiple male routes. A relationship based purely on...
  5. Do you listen to a drama CD for the voice actor or for the story?

I listen to it for the voice actors. But since some of them don't appear very often, I actually end up listening to it mostly for the story. I hope they get a lot more screen time. If it's a voice actor I like, I can overlook it even if the story is just so-so.
  6. Do you prefer (CV) with deep or soft voice?

I prefer deep voices. But I also like the contrast between high and deep voices, so I do like high-pitched voices as well.
  7. Do you use a guide or go in blind when playing otome games?

At first, I play through the game without looking at any guides. After completing two or three routes, I start checking walkthrough sites to see the endings I haven't unlocked yet.
  8. If you ended up in an otome game, which role do you think you'd be?

In my case, I think I'd be either a best friend or an NPC. I'm the type who likes to meddle in other people's business, so even if I were to enter the world of a otome game, I'd probably end up meddling there too—so I'd likely end up in the best friend role, lol. It also seems like fun to...
  9. Do You Like Otome Games With More Than One MC?

I'm in the camp that prefers stories with just one protagonist. That's because I like stories where a single character is the object of affection in a reverse harem (even if there are individual routes). Also, I can only empathize with a single protagonist, so when it's another character, it...
  10. Which one do you like the most: Otome or BL

I used to like both BL and otome, but as I've gotten older, my preference for otome has grown stronger. I still like both, but my preference for otome is stronger now. I enjoy them in different ways: with BL, I enjoy seeing my favorite characters interact, and with otome, I enjoy projecting...
  11. Do you wish there were more eroge otome?

I really hope there will be more R18 otome games too! I'm envious of how many different types and how many adult games for men there are. Given the current situation—where the number of artists capable of drawing for R18 otome games is limited, and they face various challenges compared to...
  12. What is your go-to audio format and why?

When I listen on my smartphone, I use MP3 files. Since smartphones have limited storage, I think lightweight MP3s are the best option. When I listen on my PC, I use FLAC or WAV files. Since I can add as many hard drives as I want to my PC, storage isn't an issue, so I prioritize high sound...
  13. Canon MC name vs Self-Insert?

I use the official names. But I do project myself onto them—like fully immersing myself in the character and projecting myself onto them. The names aren't that important.
  14. What do you think about mini-games in otome?

When it comes to bonus mini-games, I'm in the camp that thinks they're unnecessary because they're usually either too easy or not fun enough, which ruins the immersion. If I want to play mini-games, I'll look for them in other games; I just want to focus on reading.
  15. Do you object to adult-rated works featuring male and female voices?

I'm the type who thinks it's totally fine to have a female voice in a supporting role. However, when a female voice is recorded specifically as the heroine's, I prefer to listen to it by projecting myself into the character, so I don't really enjoy those kinds of recordings.
