Nope. I think the chatbots are not even close to replacing Otome Games. Chatbots usually repeating and they didn't have personality.

I prefer MC with strong personality than MC with blank no personality one. Because I prefer myself not incorporated myself or self-inserting to MC.

For me, I never self-insert myself as a MC. I view the MC as MC, and for me. I feel awkward if I self-insert myself, so I just positioning myself as the reader of the story lol

I'd go blind for the first playthrough, then I'll use guide to collect all the endings.

My first otome game was Amnesia, then after that, got really interested in otome genre, started to play the older otome games and iirc Hakuoki that's still not getting localization yet. And started learning Japanese through VN just to play the other VNs and titles hehe

Me too! Everytime I play new otome game or VNs, the first thing I did was tweaking the audio. Mostly make the charas voice to 100%, and tweaking the BGM to 70% or lower.
