  1. When playing otome games, do you usually stick with one game until you finish it, or do you rotate between several?

I have to stick with one or else I usually don't end up finishing any of them
  2. Different Cultures: How Do Players View the MC's Submissive Attitude in Otome Games?

For a genre of games that are supposedly made "for women," it's crazy how many instances there are of MCs being treated like children, servants, or objects by the men who are supposed to be in love/falling in love with them. It takes a lot for me to clock out of a game that isn't super boring...
  3. What VN genres have you read that aren't focused on romance?

Horror, especially more psychological stuff. Now I mostly just play horror-romance
  4. What's your opinion on otome games that feature routes based on real people?

Don't love it, personally, even with historical characters. It can be done well in games that are more comedy than romance, though
  5. What's was your first otome game and how did you find it ?

Mystic Messenger, but the first one I played while knowing what otome games were was Amnesia: Memories Edit: Oops forgot to answer the question. Pretty sure I just found it by looking up popular otome games

I usually make my MC as entitled and/or evil as possible on my first playthrough
  7. Do you finish all routes or only your favorites?

If I really like the game, then, yes, because, at least in some cases, the story doesn't feel "complete" without knowing all the endings (including bad ones). But if I wasn't that into the game, I'll usually only do the route of the guy I like the most, and might not even bother getting all of...
  8. what makes you want to play a game?

An interesting premise and passable art. After that I've dropped a lot of games for being poorly written/translated or just boring though
  9. Tragic or Happy Ends in Otome—Which Team Are You On?

Tragic, mostly because I like games that can't really have a fully happy ending. In lighter games the HEs are usually treated as the "good/true endings," so I prefer those.
  10. Your favorite itch.io otome games at the moment?

Chilling Devotion. I must have found it randomly cuz I've never seen it mentioned anywhere else Also second Scarlet Hollow. Not an otome but... Wayne
