When playing otome games, do you usually stick with one game until you finish it, or do you rotate between several?

I tend to play a maximum of three games at a time. I feel that if I stick to just one game I'll get too worn out by the story and setting, so I pick games with different settings and themes. For example, when I was playing Virche I picked up CupiPara to relieve the angst, and when I was playing Birushana I picked up Radiant Tale to alternate between action and fantasy. I play one route of each game until I finish both.

I usually play only one otome game at a time, but sometimes the story starts to drag and I lose focus. When that happens, I switch things up and play a different genre, like an FPS, for a while.

I like to focus on one game and fully dive into the story, but sometimes I make exceptions, like playing another game with similar vibes or themes. I don't like strong contrasts

For example, I started Itehari, but the experience felt too slow. Then I found Olympia Soirée and tried it. It gave me similar vibes (+ MC had similar hair). I ended up finishing olysoi first, then Itehari, but in the same month

I think it depends on how busy I am, my mood, and how easy the story is to digest. With Virche, I focused only on that story, so like a masochist, I suffered a lot and enjoyed it :D

Stick with one game at a time gang 🙌
If I try to play more than one otome, I'm bound to not finishing any of them for sure lmao so I gotta make sure I play one game thoroughly, before moving to the other game.

Of course tick with one. Just like reading novels, finish one and then read another.
I wish I had your restraint.
I tend to play 2-5 at a time. However 3 will be in japanese and 2 usually are in english and are 'read a bit of these every night' and take a lot longer to get through, the japanese ones are for study.

here are my current rotation games:
1772018226664.png

1. 9 Rip Sequel (JP, 20,000ish characters a day) completed 4/9 characters fully. 日本語
2. Ken ga Kimi - replaying this slowly on the switch as it includes the fandisc. Only completed Kei and Enishi. 日本語
3. Diabolik Lovers - On pause, have completed Laito, Ayato, Reiji and half of Subaru - I need to be in a VERY PARTICULAR mood for this game. 日本語
4. Even if Tempest - This my next fandisc to finish, i've only just booted it to prologue. 日本語
5. Itehari - Playing in english 4/5 characters completed! - English
6. Virche FD - Im emotionally not ready (its been 6 months but its here) - English
7. Temirana - I am at chapter 4 of common route! English.

I like to stick to one, because if I switch between games I never complete them. BUt to be fair I still switch between them if I don't feel like continuing , rather than forcing myself to complete it at the time. Because of this I tend to start games- not finish them- then later replaying them from the beginning and then finish the game.

I tend to rotate between multiple games.
If a game requires multiple playthroughs or has a long common route, I usually lose focus and interest, so after finishing one character's route, I move on to a different game.
On the other hand, if the common route is short and the individual character routes are long, I'm more likely to stick with one game and play it through to the end.

I just stick to one untill I finish it, since in the past when I switched between games I used to forget the story from where I left off, which impacted my game experience

I'll stick to one otome game as I always play an otome game and another type of game. So I stay with the otome game until I finish it then switch it out for another.

I've tried playing several at the same time, but the stories start to get mixed up in my head and I can't finish any of them, so the maximum I can play is two at a time.

I used to play several at a time, but recently I've been sticking to one game. I think it depends on how good that game is. If I can completely immerse in it, I will just focus on that game. If its just meh, I'll play a couple at a time to balance it out, but also get through my backlog at the same time.

I used to cling tightly to one, but lately, with the little time I have, and having matured, I give up much more easily on boring titles that take a long time to capture my attention (I'm talking to you, Reine des Fleurs).

Stick with one! I basically treat them like books and like getting the full story before starting a new one. Plus I tend to get distracted very easily so I'd probably end up hopping from game to game and completing nothing if I didn't restrict myself to just one lol

several games at a time but now just 1 route per game.. hope I have more time to to play the whole game though, nowadays I tend to play online game that doesn't require full focus just log in daily and done.

I only play one otome game at a time.
If I play multiple simultaneously, I'll definitely forget the story lol

I usually focus on a game, but when I play games, I will use my mobile phone to check strategies for characters. Then I will be addicted to playing mobile phones, so it takes me a long time to finish a game.

If the story is so good but character ok, one title counts a full play. If the character is so good and story ok, one character counts a full play. So it depends.

I usually stick with one. If I play one of the heavier games, I will take a break and play a lighter title before coming back to it.

i usually play several at a time because my attention span is non-existant TT i'm constanty pausing when i get bored or find something more exciting to play. a game has to be very intriguing for me to finish it all at once

I try to read only one. I already had precedents when a more interesting project was released during reading and with my thoughts, well, now I read it and then I will return to the previous vn never returned to it, lol
