  1. Fave LI type among common tropes?

My favorite is definitely yandere. I always get excited when there's one in a game. I also really like tsundere. They're just so cute.
  2. When do you usually listen to Otome CDs?

I usually listen to them at night when I can relax. I also often listen before going to bed. Sometimes I'll put one on while I'm doing something else, but I either miss parts of the audio or get so absorbed in it that I stop what I'm doing.
  3. Do you like the slice-of-life otome genre?

I like slice-of-life otome games as well. If there are charming love interests, that's already enough to get me excited. I also enjoy taking things slow and spending time with them through sweet, relaxing everyday interactions.
  4. Dark Mode or Light Mode user?

I prefer Dark Mode. I also find Template 1 easier to read. Dark Mode feels much easier on my eyes and less tiring, so if it's an option, I almost always use it.
  5. Canon MC name vs Self-Insert?

I usually stick with the canon name. I like hearing the characters say the heroine's name in voiced lines, and it bothers me a little when they skip over it. That said, if the heroine's name isn't voiced, I often change it instead.
  6. Do you prefer more choices or more reading?

I prefer visual novels with more choices because I enjoy the feeling of making my own decisions. That said, having more to read helps me become more immersed in the story, so I think that's important too. If I had to choose one, I'd say it depends on the game. For story-focused titles, I'd...
  7. Your opinion on otome gacha games

I'm not particularly fond of gacha games. Having to worry about stamina and keep up with limited-time events can feel exhausting because they demand so much of your time. If there's something that really appeals to me, I might still play one, but when it comes to otome games, I prefer being able...
  8. Can you imagine yourself in the place of the main character?

It depends on the game. Sometimes I self-insert, and sometimes I don't, but even when I don't, I often still get emotionally invested in the story and enjoy it that way.
  9. Do you prefer (CV) with deep or soft voice?

It depends a lot on the character. If the voice suits the character well, I can end up loving both deep and soft voices. My personal preference is actually somewhere in the middle, and I tend to prefer mid-range voices over extremely deep or high-pitched ones.
  10. Do you use default settings on VNs?

Since the voices can often be hard to hear clearly, I usually lower the BGM and sound effects while increasing the voice volume to make them easier to understand. I also find it easier to read when the text appears quickly, so I set the text speed to either the fastest setting or one step below it.
  11. Does it bother you that most VNs only give you two options when making choices?

I find it a little unsatisfying when there are only two options. I prefer having more options, especially when they offer a wider variety of responses. I enjoy making choices while thinking about all the different possibilities.
  12. Do you 100% complete your otome/bl VNs?

I try to aim for 100% completion whenever possible, but sometimes I don't manage it. Sometimes I'll take breaks and eventually come back to fully complete the game, but if a game doesn't really click with me, I often don't force myself to complete it.
  13. What kind of atmosphere do you enjoy most?

I prefer serious, story-driven otome games. However, I don't like it when the plot takes so much priority that the romance is barely present. I want the romance to be an important part of the story as well. As long as the romantic development is written with care and there's a good balance...
  14. Self-Inserting and Heroine Voices in Otome Games

Whether I self-insert depends on the game. As for the heroine's voice, I sometimes turn it off if I don't like it, but I generally keep it on. Personally, I find it easier to get immersed in the story when the heroine is voiced.
  15. Bad ending or good ending, which one do you prefer?

I like happy endings, but I like bad endings too. Whether I end up liking a bad ending depends a lot on how it's written and what kind of bad ending it is. If it's done well, there are actually many times when I end up liking the bad ending more.
