HotD animators screwed it up in some of the detail so I severely doubt a 2nd season, Sankarea was only a light novel, don't know if there's more material on it though.
 
it was at the start, then the animators focused more on the fanservice than the zombies. the first few episodes had awesome detail on the zombies, then it was toned down which sucked. the manga was incredibly detailed in their zombies and the fanservice was better.
 
yep. especially one part before the end, when Saeko and that guy with a bat got separated from the others. That was supposed to happen when they got to the mall which was supposed to be season 2.
 
Hmm sounds like they screwed over the order of stuff... that usually doesnt bode well for the future events...
 
Hmm for HnG they left out certain events which they deemed as unimportant but added up they actually made a difference so the anime cant follow the manga anymore...

HunterxHunter? Hmm... did they? not quite sure about that one...
 
Hayate? hmm never watched it cause of the shota despite the lolis.

they revamped HxH though I think the original was way better than the current.
 
the current one, the one that is shortening the events of the previous series.

yeah, A LOT of shortening. There are hardly any arcs anymore considering how short they are, and with their shortening they'll catch-up to the slow moving manga in a matter of months. good thing the series is also intermittently ongoing like the manga.
 
Maybe thats their intention? Catch up to where the old one left off and then start doing it seriously?
