[i am writing this while being aware that i'm about 2 years late to this party]
i was reading chap 21 of da manga and one of my favorite anime/manga chars gets knocked out and raped. just because the main antagonist wanted to prove a point.
http://mangafox.me/manga/seiken_no_katanakaji/v05/c021/40.html
i looked around and learned that the original light novel was changed because she was actually raped by the main antagonist, but got so much fan backlash that the author changed the scene so she was all but truly deflowered. (the original write of that part of the novel is kind of a collectors item now cause its no longer in print.)
the excuse used now, is that the antagonist is a eunich so he basically stops at the point of no return and states it would be pointless to go further for him.
*sigh* while i obviously dont condone his initially written actions, i do wish that the story had remained as written (and continue to believe so in my own head as this was the authors original direction)
the world can be a cruel and horrible place, and it gives so much more validation and justification for her actions and feelings then on afterwards, and for Luke's as well when he learns of it. She spends three freakin days in her bed unable to move or eat with nothing but thoughts of seething hatred for her assaulter and eventually gives way to crippling feelings of impotence. this dude freakin destroyed her mind and almost her body.
im sorry, when bad things happen to people or even people who dont exist, in this case, it makes me have feels for a while so sometimes i talk about them... thank u for listening, anyone ^^
