This is not a trouble-shooting thread : please do not post questions about translation mods in this discussion.

I'm scrapping my version, I wrote up a post with updates and what to do.
New UI Images by Psymon (follow the link, just a few posts ahead)

User interface (Menus and settings) partial translation for main game only.
I'm still working on status effect and H-Screen

This is images only it is to be used in conjunction with the text translations


Directions

• Make sure to get UI Translation Loader v0.15.0 + Translations first (backup link because Hongfire is slow:UITranslation.v0.15.2-HoneySelect.7z )
• Download attachment
• Extract to your HoneySelect directory (C:\Illusion\HoneySelect)

New Downloads/Updates for those that still can't load Hongfire

Before you start make sure to get Illusion Plugin Architecture 1.4(Download from here if Hongfire down)

1. UI Translation Loader V0.16.0 (Download)
   akyryz updated the UI Translation Loader to V0.16.0
2. Lewton's Text-Translation- 12-22-2016
   Text translations ( download from attachment in his post)

TL/DR:
Download 1 and 2 from above.
You can now play Honey Select in English.

@foxxyswords - Just an update, but the newest translations by Lewton at HF are at version 0.7, now.
Here it is for those who agonize over attempting to go on there, lately. (Thanks to Lewton for his continued work!)

Out of curiosity, which file would I edit to change the Personality/Traits translations? I edited and saved "CharMaker.20", but the old translations showed up, instead.

Thanks! Well, it really isn't much. All I did was make some adjustments to what I mentioned based on the wiki. Anyway, here you go!
Again, I'm not sure why the changes don't show up in my character creator.

I can't view your attachment, but I'll take your word for it. Why is that, I wonder? Why will it work for you and not me? I have UITranslation v16.0 installed, btw.

Don't worry. It doesn't work for me, either. I think its borked.

I can't view it either. I guess it broke during upload or something. Tried Chrome and IE. 3 browsers can't be wrong. Chrome usually just gives a warning that the site is malicious, so I just hit Details and View Site to say f*** you to stupid-ass Chrome.

That's what is puzzling; I have the file in that exact directory. Still nothing. Maybe it's something to do with the UITranslation settings?

set this:

bDebugMode=True

run the game

look inside the Plugins\UITranslation\Translation.log file for a "Loaded" file with the file path.

you can also set

[Translation]
bFindText=True

to get yet more info

oh and keep the other settings ><

Doing all of the above, checking the log file, and CharMaker.20 does indeed load from the correct directory; they all seem to.
Changed it to "True" for bFindText.

Still the same results. Aie yie yie!

could you take a screenshot of the place you say that does not change? i guess that could be an image.

Btw, just re-checked the Translation log file and it's quite different, now...

thank you! now i see the problem. you have files in conflict.
remove CustomScene.20.txt from the text folder.

Edit: ok tell you what. the latest update had files renamed. remove and reinstall the translation.

Huzzah! Deleted it and all is well, thanks so much!
That said, I wonder how that CustomScene.20 file should be edited? I don't remember who uploaded it, on here, but that's where I got it from.
