You guys prefer novel or manga?

Probably manga. Pretty suck for visualizing the positions of people or objects in my head

I will address this question in two parts:
- When choosing between manga and novels—both being works entirely created by their authors—I clearly prefer manga.
- However, regarding adaptations of novels into manga, manhwa, or manhua, my view differs; like many others, I prefer this format for its highly appealing visual aspect, yet one must admit that the medium tends to diminish the quality of the story. Novels offer far greater insight into the characters' psyches, and many passages are often left out during adaptation.

I like both. If I had to choose between manga or novel for the same work, then I prefer manga because I like to see the art and the character reactions. Then, I would supplement it with the novel as it often goes deeper into a character's psyche and feelings. They each have their charms and weaknesses so enjoying both is the best.

i prefer novel~~ imo a manga/manhwa/manhua can't fully convey the depth of the story + characters' emotions like a novel do. esp if a the visual media is an adaptation of a novel, it's always missing something TT i prefer reading novels bc i don't really care ab the artwork (if an adaptation of a novel is very abysmal) if the story's really great

I like both, but find it easier to read manga than novel. I also love looking at the beautiful art in manga.

I like both. When I get tired of reading novels, I switch to manga, and when I get tired of manga, I switch back to novels ヽ(*￣▽￣*)ノ. Novels and manga have different ways of expressing things, but excellent works can convey emotions in a similarly wonderful way.

Manga more, definitely. I have trouble with reading novels because I want to see what other people see or imagine. It's like expectations vs reality, is imagine it to be soooo good but once it finally gets turned into a comic series..oh there's a chance that I'd be really disappointed and just drop it instantly

If I have time to spare, I enjoy reading novels and immersing myself in their worlds through my imagination; however, since I have so many other ways to enjoy myself these days, I find myself reading manga which is easier to follow more often.
I love both of them!
