You guys prefer novel or manga?

I will address this question in two parts:
- When choosing between manga and novels—both being works entirely created by their authors—I clearly prefer manga.
- However, regarding adaptations of novels into manga, manhwa, or manhua, my view differs; like many others, I prefer this format for its highly appealing visual aspect, yet one must admit that the medium tends to diminish the quality of the story. Novels offer far greater insight into the characters' psyches, and many passages are often left out during adaptation.

I like both. If I had to choose between manga or novel for the same work, then I prefer manga because I like to see the art and the character reactions. Then, I would supplement it with the novel as it often goes deeper into a character's psyche and feelings. They each have their charms and weaknesses so enjoying both is the best.
