Will you play otome games forever?

I might not have as much time to play as I used to, but I can't see myself giving up on games. There's always something new that catches my attention, so I'll probably keep playing for a long time.

Although I spend less time gaming as I get older, otome games have had a significant impact on me, so I want to continue enjoying them at my own pace.

I don't see myself ever fully quiting Otomes, however I do see myself taking long breaks ~~

yes even if i dont play as much anymore otome games will always be my comfort games. these games are not time gated anyways they will always be here for me whenever i wanna play.

Well.. actually, maybe?

I play otome games if i felt really tired from the entire day, like as if it's an escape. When i play otome games, i felt like I'm drowning into it..kinda like Addictive in the same way.

oh.. not really tho, i actually love otome games but i can't just play one type of game, hehe:'3

Well, I do think I'll play otome games forever. But not just otome games—I like all kinds of games, and I can't imagine ever stopping. Otome games are just one of them. 😂

Nothing lasts forever, but I'll keep playing as long as I still enjoy it. I totally get how you feel. About a decade ago, my friends and I used to play otome games all the time. But now, everyone has their own careers and families, and many have moved on from gaming. I still play, though I stopped posting updates about it.

Then one day, on a whim, I posted a review for a game I'd just finished, fully expecting to get teased for still playing otome games at my age. Out of nowhere, a few old friends commented, saying they thought I'd given up on games and were so happy to see I was still going strong.

I suddenly realized my worries were completely groundless. So just keep playing, there's no need to overthink it=))

"I will always love stories that take the time to shape their characters and build their narratives. If you find yourself getting bored or tired, maybe it's not you—maybe the story just wasn't meant for you. But I believe that a great story will always find a way to move you, no matter how old you are."

I've been playing games since I was 5 (OK, I didn't play myself, but I watched my cousin play ;), and now I'm a little older (...almost 40...), and I'm still playing games, watching anime, and reading manga. Maybe a little less than I used to, but I don't think that after all these years I'd suddenly decide this isn't for me and stop doing it.
And of course, I still like otome games. Sure, the characters are getting younger and younger (unlike me, unfortunately...) and sometimes I don't get as into them as I used to, but I still think they're pretty cool :)

It's kind of strange, you know? Because I want to keep playing otome games until the end of my days because I love them so much, but I also don't know what the future will be like. Sometimes I even wonder if they'll still be making games after I'm gone (probably yes, jajaja). But I really hope I can keep playing them until I'm very old :)

I've been playing otome games for over 10 years, maybe even 15+ at this point. So I don't really see any reason to stop now

I find myself quitting them for some time, before coming back to them, so I guess no, I'll keep playing them whenever in the mood, even when I'll turn into an old hag lol

I think I still will. I've been playing otome games for over a decade now. I'm not as dedicated now since I'm a working adult, so I have periods of time where I stop playing them. But I always end up coming back lol

I'm not really that confident to say that I would still be playing otome games forever. I've been playing for over a decade and I can't lie but there were moments where I had a lot of long "downtime" where life got too busy and I kinda just forgot about this interest of mine entirely.

But I remember when the pandemic hit and everybody was stuck in their homes, I got bored and stumbled upon an otome game I have never heard or seen before. I gave it a try, and reignited my passion and love for otome games once more and here I am now with a huge backlog and wishlist 🤣

Honestly and realistically, I don't think I'll be playing otome games forever, but I won't deny my deep and genuine adoration and passionate interest I have for it ever since I was young. So I'd say that I can imagine future me who may have forgotten her otome roots due to her hectic daily life and responsibilities just impulsively deciding to start a new otome game (or revisit an old favorite) just to destress and reignite that passion once more

ive grown attached to visual novels, as a newbie otome vn lover i really love the li's in otome games. i will play other games ofc but ill always play otome!

I think I'll keep doing it even as I get older

But it seems like the time I can do it will gradually start to decrease

Still, if an interesting otome game comes out, I think I'll keep playing it steadily

I got my first phone at middle school and my only source of entertainment was watching vids on yt. I never played games, but one day I came across amnesia. I used to only watch the routes on yt so you can guess how happy I am to discover it has a mobile version! and from that point my main source of entertainment became otome 🫶 I love otome and will forever play otome games.

Yes that's my plan , i may face some problems because of it but I'll keep playing them (。・ω・。)ノ♡
