Will you play otome games forever?

I might not have as much time to play as I used to, but I can't see myself giving up on games. There's always something new that catches my attention, so I'll probably keep playing for a long time.

Although I spend less time gaming as I get older, otome games have had a significant impact on me, so I want to continue enjoying them at my own pace.

I don't see myself ever fully quiting Otomes, however I do see myself taking long breaks ~~

yes even if i dont play as much anymore otome games will always be my comfort games. these games are not time gated anyways they will always be here for me whenever i wanna play.

Well.. actually, maybe?

I play otome games if i felt really tired from the entire day, like as if it's an escape. When i play otome games, i felt like I'm drowning into it..kinda like Addictive in the same way.

Well, I do think I'll play otome games forever. But not just otome games—I like all kinds of games, and I can't imagine ever stopping. Otome games are just one of them. 😂

Nothing lasts forever, but I'll keep playing as long as I still enjoy it. I totally get how you feel. About a decade ago, my friends and I used to play otome games all the time. But now, everyone has their own careers and families, and many have moved on from gaming. I still play, though I stopped posting updates about it.

Then one day, on a whim, I posted a review for a game I'd just finished, fully expecting to get teased for still playing otome games at my age. Out of nowhere, a few old friends commented, saying they thought I'd given up on games and were so happy to see I was still going strong.

I suddenly realized my worries were completely groundless. So just keep playing, there's no need to overthink it=))

"I will always love stories that take the time to shape their characters and build their narratives. If you find yourself getting bored or tired, maybe it's not you—maybe the story just wasn't meant for you. But I believe that a great story will always find a way to move you, no matter how old you are."

I've been playing games since I was 5 (OK, I didn't play myself, but I watched my cousin play ;), and now I'm a little older (...almost 40...), and I'm still playing games, watching anime, and reading manga. Maybe a little less than I used to, but I don't think that after all these years I'd suddenly decide this isn't for me and stop doing it.
And of course, I still like otome games. Sure, the characters are getting younger and younger (unlike me, unfortunately...) and sometimes I don't get as into them as I used to, but I still think they're pretty cool :)
