What will you choose: 2D or 3D graphics in otome?

My choice would obviously be 2D. Maybe I'm biased, but 3D looks either too stiff or unnaturally fluid to me. 2D has more warmth in it for me, a human touch that's irreplaceable.

I'm fine with either as long as they aren't too realistic looking for me. I think a more anime look fits better when you want the characters to have interesting eye colors and funny facial expressions. Also, fantasy hairstyles just look better on a more anime looking character.

With 3D, the quality of the motion varies significantly depending on the production studio's capabilities, so 2D is generally preferred—though, of course, it is also influenced by the art styles of 2D illustrators.

I prefer 2D games.
Maybe as technology continues to develop, my feelings might change someday. But for now, when I play a 3D game and see a beautiful male character, I can appreciate that he looks beautiful, but I don't feel particularly emotionally moved by him.
At the moment, I simply find the characters in 2D games more appealing.

I love the standard 2D visuals most otome games have, but honestly speaking I think I would much prefer a 3D otome game.

I at least wish there were more 3D otome games, the only ones I can think of are Love and Deepspace and Toraware no Palm, and I haven't played Love and Deepspace since I don't want to play a gacha game.

I feel like galge have way more 3D games, it's so unfair! I'm even jealous of that Stripjong mahjong game, since I love mahjong!!!! Make one for girls!!!!!!
