What otome genre you most enjoy?

I like low fantasy. I enjoy stories that have a touch of cuteness without being too serious.

Contemporary and fantasy mostly. Historical settings are just not my thing usually. I also really wish there were more otomes that mixed romance with actual horror, not just light ghost stuff but properly dark and unsettling

Supernatural and contemporary mostly, or a steampunk set, like my favorite otome (Amnesia, 9 RIP and Steam Prison) 😄

I like honeybee's games!Starry sky、Un:BIRTHDAY SONG、Seishun Hajimemashita! and more these youth campus drama games. These games contain youth, passion, and emotion. They can lift my happy mood.

I usually prefer more light-hearted, fun, and chaotic otome games, like Cupid Parasite, or supernatural and a bit "problematic" ones like Diabolik Lovers lol.
I tend to avoid historical settings, especially Edo or Sengoku-era stories 😭

I love mysteries. I especially enjoy the thrill of trying to figure out which of the love interests holds the key to the story.

In otome games, it's even more exciting and thrilling when the characters have twisted or twisted loves.

My favourite setting – not just in otome games, but in games and books in general – is modern and/or supernatural. And ideally, urban fantasy :)

I like fantasy, historical, and horror otome games.
But i prefer the dark one with happy ending of course!

Asaki, Yumemishi
My favorite 🥰

I'm not picky so any genre is fine. Though I wish sci-fi was more common for otome.

I like any otome games as long as it's not intentionally torturing characters just to wring tears out of the players.

I pretty much like all types of otome games, but I'd say I'm drawn more towards horror, mystery, and fantasy/supernatural.

I love fantasy, historical, mystery, and horror! I do like school-life if it's placed in an alternate universe (fantasy-ish)

Hmm.. perhaps mystery, but I'm more picky towards the execution itself. I prefer mystery/horror books for example, but absolutely dreaded shuuen no virche, so I think having a specific preference for otome genre is hard to translate to other literary mediums!

Un:birthday song and re:birthday song were amazing! I wonder if they fall under the fantasy genre? Yet they're also realistic in some sense, and carry alot of deep psychological tones...

I'm okay with any genre, but genre I most enjoyed is dark (Like virche, over requiemz, black wolves saga, moshikami and the upcoming sullyland ) (I love suffering muehehe 😈) Sci-Fi, fantasy in general and the one that focused on supernatural things such as ayakashi, demon etc.

Horror, Mystery, Mythology, and a bit of a unique plot
"Ken ga Kimi, Shuuen No Virche" type

You know, I've been craving some medieval otomes, not sure if there's a lot out there. Just anything from the older periods I guess. But I would LOVE for a game where the MC is just a normie peasant.

I enjoy historical settings the most — like Hakuoki.
Fantasy or folklore-inspired worlds are great too, as long as the art style and setting are well done.
