What games made you cry?

OMORI
Even now, just listening to the soundtrack is enough to make me cry again. It brings back all the emotions from the ending.

I dont really cry, but i do admit Persona 4 True Ending moved me a bit. Love the cast a lot.

i'm an emotional guy who cries often at anything sad but if I had to choose the games that made me cry and truly stuck with me i'd have to say Friendly Lab- Unlock() and final fantasy 15

Wow, I love your list! Emotional games really stick with you. I'd also add DFL25 football game. It might seem like just a sports game, but some of the matches and comebacks can be surprisingly intense and even emotional. You can check it out here: dfl25 football game.

Shadow of the Colossus, To the Moon, and Hades really got me. The OSTs definitely contributed to that I think.

FF Type 0
Persona 3 Portable
Ken ga kimi
Lots of games made me cry tho

UPDATE: I forgot to add FF Crisis Core

In the original silent hill 2 game I can not make it throught that letter final letter reading. Omori also got me at the end.

I don't cry often, but there are games where at some point I couldn't control my emotions, such as: Virche Evermore: -ErroR:salvation- (Especially It's very difficult to restrain yourself at the Despair End), Club Suicide (special Tsuzuri root) and Scarlet Fate ~Fragments of the Past~ (It's a heartfelt story in the game as a whole)
And if you don't take into account visual novels, this is the Persona series and Expedition 33

I just realized I don't cry much for video games. Anime is a different story however.
Only To the Moon comes to mind. Just for the first game. The rest in the series didn't hit as hard.

I admire people who read Ken ga Kimi entirely in Japanese enough to get feels from it. I'm still on my language learning journey for that. I did try it with my current skills and a dictionary, but the constant need to look up words killed the immersion so I shelved it for now

Undertale, Mother 3, Rune Factory 4, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Persona 3 Portable, The Narcissu 10th Anthology, Lady in Mystery, Beyond Eden, and Mass Effect 3.
I've cried my eyes out for all of them.

Omori was one of the first games ever that has made me cry a cutesy game at first then on the end it was a rollercoaster of emotions.

First ever games that I never expect a cute themed would have a psychological experience as the game progresses😿.

wadanohara!!!!!! still one of the most impressive games i have ever played. bad endings are GUT-WRENCHING, and the fact that you have to go through them to achieve the best ending makes it so much more rewarding!!!!!!!! its been like 8 years since i first played it, i replayed it like three or four times, and every single time it managed to break my heart (in a good way). i have a lot of rpgm horror games that impacted me in one way or another, because its seriously such a powerful medium...!

in terms of vns, sweet pool no competition. once again, one of the most important games in my entire life, amplified by the fact that i was very skeptical going in because i hated youji at first;; but it was just an amazing visual novel all around, and i came to care very much about every character. and the interactions between youji and his sister erika are so insanely sweet too........;;;;;

Please do not get me started on my babybrain when it comes to crying. I sob so easily at games. Last of us had me a mess for days.

SAME!!!!!!!! the scene with giraffes and the music that was playing there made me so emotional oh my god...............!

For me it felt silly, it was Dragon Age Veilguard.....
I think I was burnt out and I just bawled into tears and tried to play it again and did the same thing. I was like I don't think I can deal with this any more

I'm a very emotional person and cry easily. Most recently, I was a sobbing mess during the final boss fight of Limbus Company's Canto 9. Seeing a character who used to only follow orders eventually disobeying them just to beg their child not to leave... The OST played a huge part too, and I couldn't stop crying until the very end.
