What do you value more in otome: the plot or the romance?

Both, though if I really have to choose, I'd go with the plot, I only lean toward romance when I want to turn my brain off =))) But honestly, a nice mix of both is the best. The plot doesn't even need to be overly complex; it just needs decent logic and not to be absolute nonsense. Besides, if a good plot lacks romance, I can always use my own imagination =))) but if the plot is too trashy, I wouldn't even bother reading a single word.
