What do you think about these ai chat bots?Could they replace otome games?

Actually, I think it's quite interesting,you can set up your own character and then, within the storylines you chat about with the AI, add your own ideas at any time. For example, you can introduce a new character related to the player into the story, follow the plot however you want, or simply enjoy walking through the storyline that the AI creator has set up. It's pretty fun，but that's assuming the story itself is interesting.

I've never used an AI chatbot before, nor do I think I'll ever use one, but I do understand why people like chatbots. Putting aside the issue of creative ethics, that can enjoy it without much effort, and it's also easily accessible. Chatbots won't completely replace gaming, but I think the market will undergo major changes as more and more people start using them. That's already the trend, too. Of course, most heavy users will probably prefer games, but for those who aren't, they'll likely follow that trend a lot

They won't replace the otome games/visual novels. Almost all of them play off of parts of most famous characters from books or movies. Ai chat bots r mostly one trick ponies. This is coming from someone who have used them alot.

hmm I've never heard of this. Not big fan talking with AI. For me was enough playing games with google ai when i was boring.

I was into it for a short time when it was reallly at the peak of popularity. But in time I think its definitely not something I would do again. With more awareness on the environmental issues with the use of AI , I despise it a lot more. I don't think it can or will replace human-made otome games.
Besides the environmental issues, i think these ai chatbots are very dangerous for your mental health ive seen cases of ppl obsessing over their ai partners instead of actually interacting with their friends or family

I feel like otome game and ai chatbot are two totally different thing tho, so probably not being replace. I have used once on character ai but got bored quickly once the ai start bugging out. They were just repeat the same plot with different expression, and each time I regenerate the lines, it just get shorter and dull. I would be against ai chatbots cuz It lacks emotion and life with what they generate, and no cgs!!!

Ai will not replace otome games. No matter how ai develops its chat direction, it is biased towards users' subjective opinions and lacks role personality. On the contrary, the role personality and game plot of otome games are designated by the author, but they are different from the same look and feel of ai, which can bring novelty to users, especially when playing for the first time, which can bring different emotions such as shock and moving.

I think AI chatbots are interesting, especially for casual character interactions, but I don't think they could fully replace otome games. Otome games have a proper story, character development, voice acting, music, and a world that feels carefully written. AI chats can be fun and more interactive, but I'd still prefer otome games for the full experience.

I kind of hate chatbots. if a person i like says they use them for roleplay, my opinion on them changes for the worse :(

I play them so I think it's fine in substitutes temporarily, especially for works that don't include immersion. They will never replace human works or real otome games and they mix up informations so often (unless you pay). They will never compare to real works but it is an option :/
