What do you think about ear-licking in drama CDs?

I'm not really good at it, so I feel the urge to skip it.

I think it depends on the voice actor and the way it's done. If the sound effects are good and the voice actor does a great job, it can make the experience much more immersive. But if it's too exaggerated, it can feel a little awkward!

At first, it was a total shock XD I think I am heavily influenced by the voice actor's performance. In other works, there were times when it just sounded like noise, but VA for Ichijo Hirame delivered such a great ear-licking performance that it completely shattered my preconceptions. Apparently, he is actually well-known for that ear-licking.

At first it sounds amazing, but it also feels a bit jarring—like a sound effect rather than a sound that would naturally occur from person-to-person contact. It's less acceptable than kissing, especially in some voice acting where it's amplified too much. It sounds like someone slurping noodles and soup loudly right next to my ear—very refreshing, but not romantic at all.

it's not my thing but i can tolerate it, i've listened to a bunch of binaural drama cds so it gives me a thrill but i still get slightly uncomfortable when they lick the inside of my ear >.>

Honestly, I'm the opposite — I actually enjoy them. A good ear-licking scene done by a talented VA can be surprisingly immersive, and it's one of the few things drama CDs can do that other media can't. Sure, it's not for everyone, but for me it's a fun bit of intimacy that adds to the experience.

It depends on the VA for me and the mood cos sometimes im just not feeling the ear licking and want to hear smth else

But other times it can be enjoyable if the VA is able to present it well and be able to have a more immersive experience

I really enjoy ear-licking scenes Love the little teasing breath sounds mixed in. Some of my favourite VAs absolutely nail this kind of gentle teasing.

Im such a hoe for ear licking, i gobble it up BAD i dont even mind when it gets really intense and slurpy, likeeee yesss give me more you can basically call me an ear licking conosseuir with how ive pretty much picked up how every VA has their own ear licking style, like how Satou Takuya and Makoto Furukuwa have more simple ear kisses, Mitsuhashi and Ichijou Hirame have more sensual and intimate play styles, and then theres Shuhei Tominaga and Hayami Rihito who like gently slurping and teasing, then people like Uitoki Cherry who pull out a fucking vacuum IM AND INTO ALL OF IT
