What are your thoughts about otome games with multiple protagonists?

It can be fun! The only two games I've played that did something like that are Norn9 and an indie called Trouble Comes Twice. In the latter you could choose to play as either one of two twins, Jace or Hazel, and romance all the 4 Ros as either. It was really interesting how a different MC could bring out different sides of the Ros, and seeing all the different dynamics between characters.

I haven't played many games with multiple protagonists, so I can't say for sure, but personally, I prefer games that feature just one main character.

I don't really care for them because I usually get attached to only one protagonist, so the other pov feels like a drag.

I'm actually fine with both single and multiple protagonists, each has different dynamics and experiences for me. For the single protagonist games, I went through A LOT of otome games and I'd say it's classic to see the protagonist's behaviours or personality swifts between different MLs; sometimes it's appealing to me, and sometimes it's not.

For multiple protagonists games, I had went through NORN 9 and Shiro to Kuro no Alice......BUT the initial reasons I play those games where not about having multiple protagonists......for NORN9 it's because Ono Daisuke is there as Azuma Natsuhiko; and for Shiro to Kuro no Alice I was diving in for UMEHARA YUICHIRO!!!

I'd say......having multiple protagonists is quite interesting cause we get to see the expansion of the story from different angles and different characters, like while this event happens here for MC 1, there's another event happening for MC 2 and 3. Then when the story finally pieces up all the puzzles together, that's when it gets more interesting
