By any chance does anyone know a good USB WiFi adapter for a laptop? My laptop sucks at picking up wireless signals :/ I constantly have to restart downloads all the time.

My iPad 2 is like your laptop, always restart download. I suggest, you put your laptop at stronger signal as possible.

You'll be better checking your wifi card that comes with your laptop, also make sure you have the most recent driver for it, then go to control panel -> Device Manager -> then expand network adapters -> select and right click your wifi adapter -> click properties -> then select advance options tab -> check this 2 options:

- Roaming Aggressiveness
- Transmit Power

The lower the settings the lower your performance will be, so play with them and see if it fix your problem picking networks and keeping the conection stable

If you decide to buy an adapter, look for Linksys or Netgear.

Another route is to buy a new wifi router. Probly the WiFi card if u tested it on another PC and it still happens.
