This is getting bad. There's around seven uploaders left in total, with Justice at Freenet doing pretty much all of the work. If he quits, it's gonna be a huge blow.

Nah, I wouldn't worry much. As long as 2dj (a.k.a mikocon) is around, it should all be fine.

If you are not a vip member, for every game, I think you need to wait for about a month from its release date for the game to be shared unless Reimi and Justice do so first. The pace of Reimi and Justice sharing eroge is much slower than OFAAFO, however, because they always do that via freenet and the number of games Reimi and Justice can cover is fewer than that 2dj can cover.

I think sharing might tend to get delayed by a month by default from this point unless a new uploader steps in, which is on the other hand a good thing for eroge industry.

With the EU ruled that forcing ISP to store logs is illegal, hopefully the Japanese releasers will be smart and start using EU based VPNs with anonymous payment methods (BTC, LTC). It's sad to see people getting arrested for this.

This is a social game and understandably hasn't been cracked yet and most likely will never be (someone can still release play movies, but that is nothing to compared to releasing the actual game). If eroge industry wants to stop illegal copies, then this might be their likely solution although I am not sure what business model will look like.
