so i downloaded a spindle eroge called kinshin bokan and when i tried to run its set up exe i just get an error message. is there anyone who can help? please and thank yoi

ok 1st you never told me this at all and 2 your complaining about it wasn't even necessary you could have worded that better instead of insulting someone with a question all fyi 10 can run older games ive tried for example the try set games but way to be rude as hell

To answer Htrollmaster's question, I checked the store page. It said it wasn't guaranteed to run under anything other than XP/Vista/7 32-bit, so you may really need to set up a virtual environment. Anyway, I'm still not sure unless I know what the installer tells you. Could you give me a screenshot?

The installer says you already have this game installed and please uninstall any existing version of the game.
Just to be sure, I tried downloading the trial version and it still ran fine on Windows 10 64-bit, so the problem might be your copy.

I know the thread is old but have you tried running the setup file in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or 8? That might help with any compatibility issues. You can also try running the setup file as an administrator.
