Should I upgrade my PSP?

Hiya guys, I just wondering should I upgrade my PSP?
My psp is 2000 version,
now I'm using CFW 5.50 GEN-D3 Firmware
I survived new games by patching it myself...
I'm afraid to to lost my screengrab and pops feature if I upgrade...
*and afraid to make mistake then bricked my psp...

My question is:
Should I upgrade it?
and which CFW is the best?

I can't play some of the latest game... =(

Then just update it. I put 6.60 PRO B9 on my PSP and it runs any game.

There might even be a newer version like B10, and it's really easy to boot it. At least it was for me.
For screengrab and pops feature you'll have to check, I'm not 100% about them because I don't use them.
