https://vgperson.com/games/
Oh nice, I plan on keeping this thread updated if I find more. Do you like 2D scrollers? They seem to be more popular in the RPG maker community.Hi!
Here's some of my favorites:
Omori
Angels of death
Pocket mirror
Gu-L
Ib
The witch's house
Wadanohara and the great blue sea
Mogeko castle
Witch's heart
The forest of drizzling rain
Zeno
Oneshot
Yume nikki fangames i liked: (there's a lot of them out there)
Yume 2kki
.flow
Lcddem
These are still in development:
Aconite
The coffin of andy and leyley
I haven't played these, but they look good:
Saihate station
Blood soup
Matryona's last night
Blank dream
Kana.exe
Flesh, blood and concrete
OFF
Burial
Devil of the mirror
End roll
Heaven for death
The gray garden
Garden gray the
The aquarium does not dream
Alicemare
1bitheart
Lieat
Crowscare
Project kat
Midnight train
And there's the classics like ao oni, mad father, corpse party, misao, the crooked man, etc...
There's also the fear and hunger games, charon games (and a person named lunaria on tumblr who makes games similar to charon - like doom stones and akane delusion)
If you understand Japanese or can translate, check out freem, booth, plicy (and novelgame for vns)
If not, i think your best bet is itch and steam, there's a wiki for rpg maker games too.
I hope this helps!

Yeah, they are working on a new game if I remember, the AstralShift team, did you check it out? It's a shame they don't release RPG Maker games much these days. Little Goody Two Shoes is a personal recommendation of mine; if I remember correctly, the people who worked on that game were the same ones who worked on Pocket Mirror.
Mermaid Swamp is always forgotten; it's quite short, but I always liked it a lot. The Crooked Man series is a classic too; there are four games in the series? They're totally worth it. Does anyone know Desert Nightmare? I played it a long time ago, but I've never seen anyone talk about it; the story is actually good.

sorry to be nosy, but why was it removed? :Oi also like playing on yno! or liked, before they removed answered prayers for the silliest reason ever. i guess it is better to enjoy your favourite games in solitude after all..^^
the author turned out to be a lolicon, and was posting art on her socials, which mods didnt like. (nevermind the old loli bath urotsuki wallpaper that was in the earlier 2kki builds..)sorry to be nosy, but why was it removed? :O
omg i had no idea that was the reason, i just go there and play then leave... still not sure i understand why collective unconscious got removed either lol but anyways, thank you for telling me!the author turned out to be a lolicon, and was posting art on her socials, which mods didnt like. SAME LMAO i tried reading explanation posts but they all boiled down to some.. disagreements about who would connect to which location? which led to some stupid highschool drama where someone leaked or sabotaged someone elses work? or something???? cant check that anymore because i left all yno-related discord servers shortly after the answered prayers stuff happened because i couldnt deal with these peoples kindergarten mentalitystill not sure i understand why collective unconscious got removed either lol
that seems so messy LOL and frankly unnecessary... hopefully migrating to their own website will mean this sort of thing won't happen anymore (or playing the offline build, even if it was originally meant for online play ig)SAME LMAO i tried reading explanation posts but they all boiled down to some.. disagreements about who would connect to which location? which led to some stupid highschool drama where someone leaked or sabotaged someone elses work? or something???? cant check that anymore because i left all yno-related discord servers shortly after the answered prayers stuff happened because i couldnt deal with these peoples kindergarten mentality
offline build shoudlve been a must simply for the preservation sake. im not even sure if older versions could be retrieved before new updates rolled out..;-; also i kinda missed where they migrated to. but even then, i wouldnt count on them too much, since even if the site is new, devs are all still the same.. or something;w; and its a shame too, because IN MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION i feel like collective unconscious is one of the rare examples of a yume nikki fangame that successfully captures the entire feel/vibe of the original yume nikki! if only people were as chill as madotsuki is T_Tthat seems so messy LOL and frankly unnecessary... hopefully migrating to their own website will mean this sort of thing won't happen anymore (or playing the offline build, even if it was originally meant for online play ig)
i agree with you... perhaps a lot was lost due to that. also i don't think they're done migrating to their own website yet! but apparently development and updates are documented in their server and i'm allergic to those LMAO so i might miss it too... i really hope nothing of the sort will happen again bc it kinda diminishes your enjoyment, you know? even if i'm not personally involved in the drama... idk. maybe i'm being sillyoffline build shoudlve been a must simply for the preservation sake. im not even sure if older versions could be retrieved before new updates rolled out..;-; also i kinda missed where they migrated to. but even then, i wouldnt count on them too much, since even if the site is new, devs are all still the same.. or something;w; and its a shame too, because IN MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION i feel like collective unconscious is one of the rare examples of a yume nikki fangame that successfully captures the entire feel/vibe of the original yume nikki! if only people were as chill as madotsuki is T_T
i thought rpgmaker.net is dead? at least it was when i last checked. and they linked to the archive, which makes me anxious for the sites future lolAre you sure the rpgmaker site is dead? It's very much alive to me @ninnikuryona
:poh wait it did get revived! very nice!!!!!
I do! Though i haven't played many, i remember sally face and 1bitheart and hollow knight, demonophobia and xenophobia. Do you know more (especially if they're horror)?Oh nice, I plan on keeping this thread updated if I find more. Do you like 2D scrollers? They seem to be more popular in the RPG maker community.
since you mentioned these two, have you played nayoriyo? its from the same genre of games (ryona with cute girls)demonophobia and xenophobia.
