Subaru and the members of Team Hasegawa are finally arrived at the Misawa Resort Hotel and they placed their bicycles outside the gate of the mansion. When they are done putting their bicycles outside the gate, Subaru pressed the doorbell.
“Who is it?” asked Hijiri Kuina.
“It’s me, Subaru. I’m with my friends from my school” said Subaru.
“Oh, just a second, I will open the gate” said Hijiri as she opens the gate in a few seconds. “Oh, you came, Subaru. What do you say earlier?”
“I have invited my friends to come to the mansion. Can you allow them?” said Subaru.
“Sure, Subaru. Please, come in” said Hijiri. The members of Team Hasegawa walk to the door of the mansion. Subaru opens the door and shows the living room to the members of Team Hasegawa. Kazunari, Aoi, Satsuki and Tae come in first before Subaru would say some words to the guests.
“Everyone, welcome to the mansion!” said Subaru. The members of Team Hasegawa are saying “Amazing!” and “Wow!” when they explore the living room. Subaru goes to the sofa to meet Mihoshi Takamura. “Miho! I’m bringing some friends from my school.”
“Well, I’m glad that you aren’t late going home after six in the evening, but I’m okay now. It’s already 5:34 and the sun is about to set in the dusk, so I’ll preparing some food for your guests” said Mihoshi.

That school is led by Atsushi Ōhara. Also, there is a guy named Masahide Ōkawa, an Ehime native whose parents are working in Ōta. He is considered a phenomenal shooter because he likes to shoot the ball with the teardrop shot” said Subaru.
“Masahide Ōkawa was one of the students who went to Tokyo after leading his middle school team in the district tournament in Ehime. During his middle school years in Ehime, he delivers his team to the prefectural championship, but they lost” said Banri.
“What about Atsushi Ōhara, Banri? How is he?” asked Misaki Natsukawa.
“Ōhara is a swingman, but also helping Keita to improve their offensive strategy action. When I was a member of the Hashida Middle School, Keita and I were teaming up together to defeat Shizuno Middle School fair and square. It wasn’t bad after all when we were doing the big-and-small offense. Right now, Ōhata is working on this strategy with Keita because of their heights. “Yeah, he knows that he was referred to his middle school years because he is always shooting the ball like a shooting star. On his skills he made, he likes to get the ball by simply making his teammate doing the pick-and-roll offense and he would do that vice versa” said Mitsuhiro.
“I guess that Seiichirō is a prodigy and I believe that he is ready to become the next face of the Dragons of Ōta” said Subaru.
“According to the newspaper I got in my house, this guy is said to be the son of a professional basketball player and he was last time competing in Kanagawa on his third year in middle school. What a prospect he is” said Naomori.
“He also even got his interviews something expressed support of the legacy of his father. He said that his playing skills soared high like an eagle and when the foundation of a newborn eagle rises, they have to learn first from the start before you grow up and make it. “It’s been a while that the Bravehearts have been expanded and Team Hasegawa should be expanded too by creating new groups and partnerships to organize events for the weekend. Also, with the pending invitations of Kana Tamayama and potentially, Chihiro Himejima and Seiichirō Yoshioka, we’re good enough to compete in the Ōta League” said Aoi.
“We don’t know if we’re going to participate at the Ōta League this year because most high school basketball players are competing for the three major tournaments: the Interhigh tournament, the Nationals and the prestigious Winter Cup. All three major competitions will be determined who the best team in Japan is” said Banri.
“So, Subaru, I’m sure that we have to know about the other schools if you have more details of the teams because if there are members of either the Western Skies Group or the Dragons of Japan, I think it will be a war for the supremacy” said Naomori.
“Yeah, it’s not all about our capital that we have to face, but also to the other prefectures that they are going to represent and there could be only one team who can survive in three competitions” said Subaru.
“That’s why for the Bravehearts, we decided to organize activities for the students in different schools to have fun doing their hobbies in order to increase the attention of the Misawa Resort Hotel. Not only there will be new buildings to be completed soon, but also there will be more guests to come at this resort hotel” said Kazunari.
“We wished to be braver like the other players in the Nashiba during the past year and that’s why it’s our year to take the miracle in the school” said Aoi.
“If we can’t succeed, we still have second chances and we won’t deny ourselves whatever it takes to dominate in this ward” said Banri.

“Oh, you found some information about Seiichirō, Mitsuhiro?” asked Naomori.
“Yeah, he knows that he was referred to his middle school years because he is always shooting the ball like a shooting star. On his skills he made, he likes to get the ball by simply making his teammate doing the pick-and-roll offense and he would do that vice versa” said Mitsuhiro.
“I guess that Seiichirō is a prodigy and I believe that he is ready to become the next face of the Dragons of Ōta” said Subaru.
“According to the newspaper I got in my house, this guy is said to be the son of a professional basketball player and he was last time competing in Kanagawa on his third year in middle school. What a prospect he is” said Naomori.
“He also even got his interviews something expressed support of the legacy of his father. He said that his playing skills soared high like an eagle and when the foundation of a newborn eagle rises, they have to learn first from the start before you grow up and make it. See his father, he is a professional basketball player and he even scored more than 50 points in a game” said Subaru.
“Takehiro was the first guy to see Seiichirō a few days ago when they met each other at the school’s assembly ground. Seiichirō is much compassionate that he already looked upon his dreams to become the best in Tokyo and in the country. So, that’s why Takehiro wanted to recruit him to be playing as the sixth man because not only Subaru and Kazunari are going to play as aces, the sixth man must play his own role to score many points in the game” said Banri.
“I expect that he will be here tomorrow at the gym, Banri” said Ryōta.
“Yeah, but unfortunately, without Takeshi and his son for three days, we might wait to see whose member of the coaching staff will coach our team for a while” said Banri.
“Then, what about the connection between the players from the Western Skies Group and our basketball team?” asked Seiji.
“Oh, yeah, you see, there is another player who might be going to join the team and he came from the prefecture of Nara. His name is Chihiro Himejima” said Subaru.
“Chihiro Himejima? Well, he is an unorthodox player” said Tae.
“Yes, you’re correct, Tae. Chihiro Himejima is a first year student as well, but he is much different than Seiichirō because Chihiro likes to use the wind as he uses his circle shot to score easy baskets” said Aoi.
“That guy is formerly from Ōkido in Nara before he decided to move his home to Ōta. Also, there are two basketball players from Shiga, who are the friends of Chihiro, are recognized as Sonia Higuchi, a Brazilian Japanese, and her brother Paulo Higuchi” said Kazunari.
“Both of them were born from a Brazilian mother and a Japanese father. They enrolled in a middle school in Shiga before transferring to Machida in West Tokyo. Sonia Higuchi is a second year middle school student and her brother Paulo is a first year high school student” said Subaru.
“Oh, I remember that point where Ginga had researched about the influence of different basketball prospects like Asumi Hiramatsu” said Aoi.
“If the Western Skies Group is composed of students who were known for orthodox signature skills, they are stronger to play their A-game because they know how they play the game which matches the Generation of Miracles, but they are different from them because they are warriors who were trying to dethrone the Generation of Miracles by using their own secret weapons to prove that they are withstanding at the end of the game” said Satsuki.
“That’s right, Satsuki. This group is divided into different chapters which they are assigned to different schools. Not to mention the Unwavering Path” said Kazunari.
“What members in that group composed of?” asked Itaru Tsuchiya.
“These students who were currently playing in Tokyo and most of them have experiences to play through their special camps held last summer. Chihiro Himejima is the guy who likes to deliver easy shots and for the record, he never misses that shot for a long time” said Aoi.
“How long he will use the circle shot when he is facing mismatches in the game?” asked Ryōta.
“I’ll say three times because he frequently uses the circle shot as the signature move that allows the ball to be released away from him if he is away from the paint” said Naomori.
“Well, I hope that both Chihiro and Seiichirō will square off some day to see who proves better” said Itaru.
“We’ll see about that, Itaru. But for now, let’s move on to another topic: tomorrow’s training” said Subaru.
“You see, the head coach and the manager of our school’s boys’ basketball team will be going to Minato for the general assembly and on the other hand, our girls’ basketball team head coach and manager will be here tomorrow at the gym. It is in doubt whether the training for the boys may be cancelled, but like what Takehiro said, a member of the coaching staff will be the interim head coach for a while the deputy manager will be the interim manager for this week” said Aoi.
“Now, in the training, what activities would be?” asked Naomori.
“The coach usually allowed us to do practice drills in the court and then, doing the shooting and passing practice. Also, there is a warm-up exercise to be held before and after the game” said Kazunari.
“On my speculation, since the second year and third year players in the team are present for now, maybe the roster is not complete. We don’t have first year students yet to play for our team. We only have two first year students that Takehiro targeting, Chihiro and Seiichirō” said Itaru.
“That’s right, Itaru” said Daisuke.
“Yeah, I definitely think they would be joining our team if they are better in the criteria Takeshi made last year” said Seiji.
“Actually, the former head coach is also Takeshi Furukawa. He said to us last week that when he was first coaching this team, they are progressing to the final sixteen before falling to Meisei High in Shibuya” said Subaru.
“When the program was suspended, it was won by Seirin High School with Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami reigned supreme to defeat Shūtoku, Tōō Academy and Meisei High” said Kazunari.
“Meisei has Shigehiro Ogiwara last year and now, he is ready to face his childhood friend Tetsuya Kuroko once again after Seirin and Meisei made it to the Final league where the top 3 of Tokyo region were advanced to the Interhigh championship” said Banri.
“I’m glad that we have two first year students who are willing to join the team and I guess that we might only have a few young players to take because most of us are kouhais and senpais” said Daisuke.
“Yeah, Daisuke. It will be our expectation to make sure that we will be the best in the district and in the country” said Kazunari.
“It will be a new challenge that we’re going to take, but of course, I’m definitely excited to see how the staff member and the deputy manager do their roles for the training tomorrow before our first match against Rokusai Gakuen High School” said Subaru.
“Yeah!” said the members of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.
“Hold on a second, Subaru. What about the girls’ basketball team? Our training is not started until the fourth week of April” said Aoi.
“Uh, I get it. I want to have the girls’ basketball team to help the boys’ basketball, so that it will help us more improved with our skills attributes. So, Aoi, I think you will be able to watch our boys training and also, to help our players to improve our skills and attributes” said Subaru.
“Okay, I’m in!” said Aoi.
“Wait, what?! Aoi, what are you thinking?” said Satsuki.
“I will be helping Subaru and the boys to improve their team, in order to prepare for Friday’s match” said Aoi.
“Oh, okay. Then, I should join too! What do you say, Tae, Misaki and Ayame?” said Satsuki.
“I’m fine with that, Satsuki. But after all, we’re teammates, right?” said Tae.
“Yeah, Tae! Are you in, Ayame?” said Misaki.
“Of course, Misaki! I’ll be joining with you, Aoi, Satsuki, Tae and Misaki! Let’s make sure that the boys will be able to know what our team’s willpower all about!” said Ayame.
“Yeah!” said Aoi, Satsuki, Tae and Misaki. Subaru, Kazunari and Banri smile after hearing the girls’ acceptance to help the boys’ basketball team to improve their skills and techniques, in preparing for their match against Rokusai Gakuen High School.
“Now, if the girls are ready to help us, then we will be able our team even better than expected” said Subaru.
“Yeah!” said the members of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team.
“Now, on to the last topic: the collaboration between the Bravehearts and the Nashiba High School Basketball Team” said Subaru.
“It’s been a while that the Bravehearts have been expanded and Team Hasegawa should be expanded too by creating new groups and partnerships to organize events for the weekend. Also, with the pending invitations of Kana Tamayama and potentially, Chihiro Himejima and Seiichirō Yoshioka, we’re good enough to compete in the Ōta League” said Aoi.
“We don’t know if we’re going to participate at the Ōta League this year because most high school basketball players are competing for the three major tournaments: the Interhigh tournament, the Nationals and the prestigious Winter Cup. All three major competitions will be determined who the best team in Japan is” said Banri.
“So, Subaru, I’m sure that we have to know about the other schools if you have more details of the teams because if there are members of either the Western Skies Group or the Dragons of Japan, I think it will be a war for the supremacy” said Naomori.
“Yeah, it’s not all about our capital that we have to face, but also to the other prefectures that they are going to represent and there could be only one team who can survive in three competitions” said Subaru.
“That’s why for the Bravehearts, we decided to organize activities for the students in different schools to have fun doing their hobbies in order to increase the attention of the Misawa Resort Hotel. Not only there will be new buildings to be completed soon, but also there will be more guests to come at this resort hotel” said Kazunari.
“We wished to be braver like the other players in the Nashiba during the past year and that’s why it’s our year to take the miracle in the school” said Aoi.
“If we can’t succeed, we still have second chances and we won’t deny ourselves whatever it takes to dominate in this ward” said Banri.
“Yeah! We want to compete together as a team!” said Ayame.
“For the courage of our school and in order to succeed, we should soar high” said Misaki.
“It’s our opportunity to do whatever it takes to dominate in this ward and also, our hopes and dreams may be accomplished soon” said Naomori.
“Yeah! Let the students support for our basketball program!” said Daisuke.
“If they cheer for our school, we know that we’re strong enough to win matches!” said Itaru.
“Yeah, so that’s we should motivate ourselves as we’re ready to start our new season” said Banri.
“With the shooters and protectors are ready to shine, they know what the Nashiba High School is all about” said Kazunari.
“Leading the way of victory will bring the path of glory for the school and the Bravehearts” said Satsuki.
“No doubts about that, Satsuki. There are rewards and consequences at the end of the game. It’s all up to Suabru and Aoi to lead the team without hesitations” said Tae.
“Yeah, we should become warriors and bravehearts that we should expect the future and we will create a big happy family of friends. Right, Subaru?” said Aoi.
“You bet, Aoi! Whew, I’m so tired of discussing this for an hour and I guess I have to check the girls if they’re okay with their friends. So, everyone, let’s make the light glow through the colors of red and blue and respect for the glory of Nashiba High School!” said Subaru.
“Nashiba, FIGHT!” said Subaru, Aoi, Kazunari, Banri, Satsuki, Tae and the members of Team Hasegawa and the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team. Subaru Hasegawa tells his friends to help his team, the boys’ basketball team, to show what their team’s willpower is all about. Not only that they are ready to train tomorrow, the members of the Nashiba High School boys’ basketball team know that they are brave warriors to lead the team to victory.

Ah, it’s been a year that I start writing this series and the first thing I want to say before I will show you the first anniversary special update is that I want to thank everyone including readers for following around the series! It’s a great day that I finally reach the milestone and I hope that I can’t miss posting more updates every time and it's been a while that I joined Anime-Sharing a year ago (now, a week after the anniversary). Second, I’m planning to expand the number of characters in the series as the series will progress into the Dragons of Ōta Arc where the Bravehearts will start finding some members of the Dragons of Ōta with Subaru Hasegawa and the Bravehearts are planning to gather some members to revive the Dragons of Ōta. And finally, I start planning on future chapters for Volume 6 and, probably, Volume 7 where in Volume 7, it will be focused on two major tournaments for the Bravehearts to participate. I can’t wait to kick off the second year of the series and it’s been a great time that not just only a celebration of joy, but a celebration of wisdom. Anyway, hopefully, you will be ready to see Nashiba High School back in action because tonight's update will be the first part of the first anniversary special update.
