Otome Game Requests Rules & Guidelines

Please read the General Rules below BEFORE posting a request!
(1) First of all, please read the Request Rules written by Anime-Sharing's administrator, corocoro if you haven't done so before. (Credit to meine_YUUUKI21 for providing the link.)
Do not ask for:
- Things that don't exist (prevent this by checking on the Visual Novel Database (VNDb).
- Things that have not yet been released (prevent this by checking on VNDb).
- Things already posted on the forum, including requests that already exist. (prevent this by mastering easy Game searching tips & tricks on the next tab!).
- First of all, save yourself time and give our section's Otome & BL Game Index a try!
- Please search for the game you want in English, romaji and/or Japanese (where applicable) before requesting.
- Romanized name or Original Name (ideally both where applicable)

[*]A Getchu or VNDb link; failing that (e.g. if they're not available) a link to where it's sold but DO NOT use the content's official websites. - Try to put "[REQUEST]" in the title
- Jump to the Easy Request thread template! tab for an example and a copy-paste ready for posting!
(5) Avoid requesting games that are not Otome or BL/yaoi.
- However, some games (especially OELVNs) can be ambiguously Otome/BL due to the protagonist's gender, having both male and female love interests, being obviously targeted towards women but not Otome/BL, etc. so we understand if there is some confusion.
- Maybe try AS' Miscellaneous section, which is perfect for requests that don't fit into any other category. You may even be more likely to find a non-Otome/BL game there than our section.
However:
- If 14 days after (day 15) the "original" request has not been fulfilled, you may relink* to an external upload site. Any of these external upload links before 14 days will be deleted.
- *People who are planning to upload their game, but who can't upload within the 14 day window due to slow shipping or other reasons: Please reply in the original request that you will be uploading as soon as you can. You may be granted an additional 14 days if your reason is valid.
- If any of our uploaders buy the game and upload it to Anime-Sharing, then the thread will be closed.

- Or if you prefer, you could consider sharing your link with the Otome & BL Game Index team, where they can help with uploading.
SHARING AND TRCIKS
☆ Again, can't stress this enough: search for a game in Japanese, romaji and English first. This can save you a lot of time!
☆ Long titles are sometimes harder to search. So, try using parts of the title, especially words, names, etc. that are unique or stand out.
☆ If your search gets a ton of results, it's easy to miss the game you want! Try using your browser's word search to help you out.
☆ Can't find info for a game? Then try the Visual Novel Database (VNDb), which is the largest and most comprehensive visual novel database on the Internet. You can check loads of stuff on VNDb, like when the game will be released, what console the game will be on, what other languages you can play it in, etc. It's easy to use and you can even change the website's language if you're not confident in English.
