Hello! I know that this game just recently came out, but I've been searching for a downloadable version almost every day since the release date but I haven't been able to find anything yet! (Perhaps it's still too early for me to be searching for downloads?) But, if someone would upload it and share it, that'd be awesome or if someone could share a link to the downloads it would be very much appreciated!!

I also understand that there are some people saying that we shouldn't share the game because it would reduce sales and that the game company, Poni-Pachet, would consider an English release if it does well ... and I would really like to support the game company (since they're new in the otome gaming market I've heard?) but I just can't afford it at the moment.

So, I'm extremely sorry for the selfish request but I'd be grateful for any kind of help! ... Or some consolation because I am just an anxious wreck looking for this game! ;___;

Thank you very much in advance!!

If we're talking about the English translated version, then it isn't available yet until April 30th. At the moment you can only pre-order it from MangaGamer (15% off!) :)

Mangagamer has stated that the game will also be available on Steam after its release so even if you're a minor and your parents won't let you use their credit cards, you'll still be able to purchase it and support the English otome game market. :)

Could you please buy the game. The original creator of even wrote a post and begged for people not to download it illegal. It won't be expensive please buy it on steam once it's released.

Wait how can I buy it without a credit card in Steam?

Steam offers a variety of payment methods. :) You could for example pay with Paypal or your debit card. There are even Steam gift cards (these should be available at every store that also offers e.g. iTunes and PSN cards; even Amazon sells them) so literally everyone can make a purchase on Steam. Heck, you could even give someone you trust the money and ask them to buy it in your stead and give you the game as a gift on Steam if all of those methods are too troublesome for you.

I've already pre-ordered the game and am looking for someone to help me crack it once I receive my copy. Out of respect to the devs' wishes, I will not be sharing it for quite a while after release.

Hmmm.... did you order it directly from the dev, or did you buy it from somewhere like steam? Most games that aren't hosted by steam don't require a crack. Unless you need an account with whatever corporation the dev is associating with, that is. That could require some tampering.

I pre-ordered directly from Mangagamer. I'm also planning to request a Steam code once it's released so that I can have it in my library as well.

Please just DON'T pirate Ozmafia.
It doesn't matter whether a week or a month has passed. Poni-Pachet is NOT like Otomate nor Rejet, they're more or less an indie team in Japan.
I'm not saying it's fine to pirate Otomate/Rejet games but PLEASE, if you pirate even indie games, it's no wonder why we don't get a lot of localization/s of JP otome games.

I cannot get rid of this feeling that something I worked so hard to create is being stolen.

This one line right here came directly from the creator of Ozmafia. No, it's not translated or anything. They wrote it in English.
If that line still hasn't make you feel a small pain in your heart then congratulations for being a big jerk.

I apologize if I may sound so rude but it just urks me when I see some people pirating indie games (especially since I'm part of an indie team that's developing a game right now).
Even more that Poni-Pachet made a post about this whole pirating issue of their game.
Support the creator/s properly.

Where is the respect in it if you upload it later? You still disrespect the wishes, so please just get a copy for yourselve and eveyone else should just buy it.

I just want to say, sure, it can be understandable if people can't buy most Japanese games (like me who can't afford the shipping fees), but Poni-Pachet had it translated to English and even wrote a post just to dedicate it to all the players out there, no developer has ever bothered enough to write such things, especially a Japanese dev. They are small, but they care about us and listened to our wishes to bring the game over in English. Please don't pirate the game.
Well this is a forum to...download games, so it's not like you guys will listen, I just hope you can wait at least a month before sharing it. Seriously I don't know what "respect" for the devs' wishes you have there, but a week is barely enough time to get back any money.

Dandelion ~Wishes brought to you~ and Nameless ~The one thing you must recall~ took nearly over two years to be pirated and shared. I think people should buy OzMafia this time around instead of pirating it. And to those who say they can't afford it...Save up. :P I'm going to buy OzMafia when I can and I have the money. No pirating this time around. Some people might ask me why I pirate some games and not buy all of them, yes, I can't afford it and spend so much money on games. My parents wouldn't be proud if they see me doing that. I think one or two years should go by before anyone decides to share OzMafia or something. Just like Nameless and Dandelion. If you can afford to use the Internet and download megabytes/gigabytes of games, I'm pretty sure you can buy one single game.

The otome games translated in english should not be pirated in my opinion, this would be the opposite of what are we trying to do as 'supporting'. If you can't afford for it then you can always save up your money like you buy clothes when shopping or spending your money to watch a movie at cinema. The game is not even that expensive so within a month you could save enough to buy it, and even if the cause is your parents then please support by respecting. These type of games are rarely getting translated in english and pirating them would only block the way for the rest. I hope otome community will show their respect about this.

Oh, I'm pretty sure people tried to crack these games as well, but thanks to Cheritz' smart (albeit a bit troublesome) online verification it simply wasn't possible. Shortly after they moved to Steam, the games were available to pirate. ^^"

That being said, I agree with tgywal and the others; please buy Ozmafia and show the developers that oversea users are not as bad as they think. Anime-sharing is a huge forum and also known amonst non-English speakers, and surely Poni-Pachet is well aware of this and other sharing websites. You might do those who don't want to or can't afford the game a favor, but on the long run it's just making Japanese developers and companies reluctant about expanding the business to the West.

Also (and this goes for everyone who shares games), please stop announcing it in advance. Saying "I'll wait xx days/weeks/months before uploading the game so the developers can earn some money first <3" is extremely contraproductive. You might as well say "You don't have to spend any money, just wait xx days/weeks/months and you can get it for free!11 :D". When people don't even know if they will be able to pirate a game at all, they're more prone to buy it themselves. Upload it when you have it and are ready to share it, no announcements whatsoever (expect when it is your goal to punch the developers in their face with a pretty smile: You might be smiling, but you're still not doing the developers a favor.) (Saying "Out of respect to the devs' wishes" is the biggest joke anyway. If you were to truly respect them, you wouldn't pirate it at all.)

Hello, earlier I received a PM that was similar to many of the responses to my post here, so I thought I'd share it as well as my response (keeping the sender anonymous, of course).

Original PM: Hey, I've seen how you've announced in the Ozmafia request thread you will upload the game. I know this is a pirating forum and thus I will try not lecture you about how this is wrong and how much you basically spit on the developers' wishes but could I at least ask you to delete your post(s) in said forum? Annoucing that you will share the game after its release is the same as saying "Hey guys, there is no need to waste your money. Just wait a little and you can get it for free!". To make things worse you even gave an estimate upload time. There will still be a few people who decide to buy the game regardless of you uploading it or not but it shouldn't surprise you that the majority of those who's read it (most of them are silent lurkers) will now just idly wait for your upload and don't even consider the option of supporting the developers. I'm not telling you to not rip the game at all (again, I am aware this is a pirating forum), you could upload it on the very same day it releases for all I care, but telling everyone that there is someone out there who will share their copy is discouraging anyone who is still contemplating a purchase to support Poni-Pachet.
Thank you for taking your time to read this PM. Hopefully my intended message has reached you and you will delete the posts for the time being.

Re: Hello, and thank you for taking the time to message me your concerns. I understand where you're coming from, but you need to consider the audience for this forum. The majority of the people who resort to lurking a (as you mentioned) piracy thread are not the consumer base that is purchasing the developer's games. They either lack the means or the conscience to do so. I know many of the users who resort to pirating a commercial otome game are young girls and teens who wish to play the game but are unable to purchase it. This is not Pony-Pachet's market, but this is the demographic that I choose to upload for. I do have discretion in who I share the game with, so I will not be posting a public link with great fanfare. I intentionally made a post indicating the estimated timeframe I would share it because I have seen people turn to shadier sites that promise the game and deliver malware instead. My purpose was to prevent them from giving business (either by ads or subscription) to sites that exist to profit from piracy, but I see now that it could be misinterpreted as telling everyone not to buy the game themselves. I appreciate hearing your perspective on the connotations of my post.

However, going back to my original statement about this site's demographic versus the game's market, I will not be deleting my post. I often feel that bashing people who share games and white-knighting for the developer on a piracy thread is preaching to an empty choir. Ultimately, it is the game that I paid for and the game I choose to share with people. If you feel that I am still substantially harming the business of Pony-Pachet, I can amend my original post to a much later, unspecified time. That way, the few on this forum who actually can afford to purchase their own games will choose to buy the product themselves during the opening hype instead of waiting many months after release to play the game.

Again, thanks for the message, but I will not be reversing my decision.

Let me start off by saying that Anime-sharing and related torrenting/pirating forums are hard to come by in mainstream media. The people who spend the effort to look up these sites and risk downloading malware to get a game for free are not Pony-Pachet's clientele. I know there is a social stigma associated with being identified as a "pirate", and I've made my peace with that. This is not the first time I've been demeaned for sharing a game, and certainly won't discourage me from continuing what I'm doing. Others may not be as comfortable with that label, so I understand the people who feel the need to inform me that what I'm doing is wrong, to disassociate themselves from the dreaded crime of piracy. I already know piracy is wrong. This isn't a revelation to me. But again, going on a piracy forum to advocate legal purchases is more of a symbolic rather than a meaningful gesture. If you are as truly dedicated to supporting the dev as you say you are, please take some of that zeal and apply it to preventing casual piracy. Don't tell uploaders on obscure sites not to share their games with who they choose, but rather go onto sites where real buyers find new games (the English otome Tumblr comes to mind) and persuade them to get the game through legal channels. Start petitions against sites that steal devs' work and reupload for profit. Telling me not to share a game I already bought is not "saving" the otome community, but rather hindering this community. We need to acknowledge that anime-sharing only exists because people have made the decision to pirate games rather than buying them.

Furthermore, I don't see why I am the specific target of this anti-piracy crusade. Despite being a long-time pirate, even I know that ALL piracy is wrong. Yet people pick and choose which pirated games to turn a blind eye and which games to attack the uploader for. Yes, the developer of OZMAFIA! asked us not to pirate the game. Does this mean all other game developers consent to having their games pirated? Or just the ones who forgot to ask us not to? The incentives for piracy are a systemic issue that can't be resolved by one or two angry posts. Making me the scapegoat for piracy doesn't save the otome community, nor does it bring over more localized games. In fact, the implication of attacking me for one game and not another are even worse; it shows that some games are "acceptable" to pirate and others are not.

Also, I'm appalled by the toxicity of these replies. I understand we may (whether it be in pretense or not) differ ideologically, but the lack of civility in some of these responses makes me question both the hypocrisy of the forum and its users. The fact that we are in disagreement does not give anyone the moral high-ground to talk down to me like some of these replies are doing. Content aside, I'm shocked by the disrespect in what I thought was a friendly community united by the shared goal of spreading otome love.

First thing first, I would like to thank shenanniegans for even wanting to share the game with the community after pre-ordering the game. Despite there are some people who disagree with the gesture after reading the developer's post, there still are people who couldn't afford any means to purchase or support the game financially, but at the very least show their support through trying the game out and then recommending the game to others who might be able to purchase the game instead.

As it is, I really do thought this forum is about letting other people share their games with the community and allowing them a chance to try the games out especially when they can't afford to pay for the games with any means. I feel that it's rather tasteless to just post against one single person who had been rather generous in wanting to share a game, especially when she wants to share it in a forum specifically for sharing otome games with others. Like the uploader had mentioned, it seemed like people were preaching to an empty choir at this point.

I'm really not trying to white knight anybody or anything in general, but I just have to leave a post in this situation. Can we just leave it be and allow any uploaders to do whichever they wish in consent to the rules of the forums? If people act and respond the way like some others had done within this forum, this just leaves me questioning on how people would react if I would like to share a game within the forum and the community in the near future.

Shenanniegans, I wasn't personally attacking you, nor was I intending to. I just thought maybe people could buy this game instead of pirating for once. That may encourage to buy more games in the future with their own money instead of pirating. I respect everyone's opinion. I'm an uploader myself, and I was attacked in the past on another forum different from Anime-Sharing just for not sharing a game on time or whatever. So pirates are still pirates. Just like myself. Still, choosing to pirate one game and not pirate another is not going to help the otome community or the people who make the games. Pirating any games isn't illegal and we're all guilty of it. Including myself. I'm not going to stop you from sharing it or harass you for it. If you want to still share OzMafia, that's your choice. I was suggesting it's better to buy this game instead of pirating it. So that's what I'm going to do.

Tee, I did not direct my message at you (you did reply before I did, after all), but I thank you for your sentiments and I'm sorry you had to go through all those senseless attacks.

I composed my message last night because I was deeply upset by the people who specifically attacked me for what I was doing (both on this thread and via toxic PMs). I've looked through many of your histories, and noticed that all of you have requested, thanked (and thus encouraged), or downloaded a pirated work on this site. It just seems quite unfair to me to be typing angry criticisms with one hand and clicking "Download" with the other. Of course, it won't discourage me from sharing this game, since I don't go back on my promises, but I will be reconsidering future uploads on anime-sharing because it appears that I am no longer welcome here.

OZMAFIA! will most likely be my final upload here. Please PM me if you have experience in cracking Steam games.
