[Misc] REQUEST GUIDELINES + FILE HOSTING INFO [2026 Updated]

Requesting Games Guidelines:​

There has been some discourse over the last few days within anime-sharing about the regulations and rules about requesting games, as the old thread is several years old at this point I think I would clarify the rules about requesting games so that everyone can avoid mess ups and so that requests are clear and easy to understand for all parties involved.​

Rules: (As stated here and expanded for Otome section)

• Do not request games that are impossible to source for the community, this includes:
  
  • Games that are not released. Please check the release date for games.
  • Games that locked behind security for phones (online service games)
• Please specify which VERSION of the game you are wishing, eg:
  
  • If the game is in Beta, please request which version you want.
  • Base Game, DLC titles, patch numbers.
• Do not make duplicate request threads.
• Do not spam request threads - Please allow others to post requests also.
• Do not post minimal information on request threads.
  
  • If a thread is replied to as 'I can upload this' please allow 14 days to allow them to fill request. After 14 days other users can fill request.
  • All threads require a minimal amount of information for clarity It will be stated bellow.
• Only Request Otome/BL/Yaoi related games in this section, other Joseimuke games should be posted in 'Other'.
  • However, some games can be ambiguously Otome/BL due to the protagonist's gender, having both male and female love interests, being obviously targeted towards women but not Otome/BL, etc.
  • Maybe try AS' Miscellaneous section, which is perfect for requests that don't fit into any other category. You may even be more likely to find a non-Otome/BL game there than our section.

INFO:
JOSEIMUKE Games that target a female audience but are not specifically romance focused or are designed for a split demographic. Eg. Starsand Island, Harvest Moon, Dressup Games.

Otome Games = Female Audience (usually visual novel) games with male romantic interests.

BL/YAOI: Generally designed for female players or audience - Male protagonist and male romance options.

Filling request rules:

• Do not link to outside websites or sources for requests as we cannot guarantee the longevity of those sources
  • eg: no nxbrew, no igg games etc.
• All links must be hosted by the person filling the request. Proof of purchase or ownership is required if you purchased the game yourself (You do not need to post personal identifying information), if not - please list/Explain where you sourced the files.
• All files should be HIDDEN behind one of our HIDE link options to prevent bot scraping and scalping. This also protects you, the uploader.

过去几天内，Anime-Sharing 平台上就游戏请求的规章与规则出现了一些讨论。鉴于旧帖至今已有数年之久，我认为有必要阐明游戏请求的相关规则，以便所有人都能避免出错，同时确保请求内容对所有相关方而言清晰易懂。



以下是关于游戏请求的论坛规则:：

• 请勿请求社区无法获取来源的游戏，包括：
  
  • 尚未发布的游戏。请自行核对游戏发售日期。
  • 因手机安全验证而锁定的游戏（在线服务类游戏）。
• 请明确说明你希望请求的游戏版本，例如：
  
  • 若游戏处于测试阶段，请注明你想要的版本。
  • 基础游戏、DLC 名称、补丁版本号。
• 请勿重复发布请求帖。
• 请勿刷屏请求帖 —— 也请给其他用户留出发布请求的空间。
• 请勿在请求帖中提供过少信息。
  
  • 所有帖子必须包含足够的基本信息以便清晰理解，具体要求见下文。
• 本板块仅限请求乙女 / BL / Yaoi 相关游戏，其他女性向游戏请发布至"其他"板块。

Filling request rules:

• 请勿在请求中链接到外部网站或来源，因为我们无法保证这些来源的长期有效性。
  例如：不得使用 nxbrew，不得使用 igg games 等。
• 所有链接必须由应求者自行托管。 如果您自行购买了游戏，需提供购买或所有权的证明（无需透露个人身份信息）；若非如此，请列出/说明您获取文件的来源。

Hi, (sorry if this is the wrong place to post, feel free to delete/move in case), I wanted to ask how the proof of purchase/ownership verification will work from now on). (For example, including a screenshot of a receipt in the post where we filled the request, or by DMing a mod with the required information etc?)

You can just post a blurred photograph/screenshot (hiding all personal information if you can, except for the date/time) if it is own brought, with like your signature/username.

if its a physical product, a picture of the product with your username on paper in the photo?

My main concern with including the date/time is that it might be possible for devs/companies to narrow down the person who leaked/posted certain otome if the date/time of purchase is shown, especially for more obscure/indie otome. (I hope this isn't coming off aggressive or anything, thank you for your hard working modding). Would it be feasible to instead have the screenshot showing date/time of purchase in the post, and add a line asking for a mod to delete the screenshot before approving the upload post? Or would this add too much to your workload?

Thats fine, I can always remove the image, you can also just put it behind the 'hide react'. no one but mods and registered users could see it that way.

I have question... What about the game that is still WIP as in the one you can only get by subscribe their patreon? Is it also need a new thread?
'Cause I can't promise that I will be able to update the game in the future because I have to subscribe to their Patreon every month.

'Cause I can't promise that I will be able to update the game in the future because I have to subscribe to their Patreon every month.

I think a new thread is best, as updates can be added to that thread.

As for proof, just do it going forward if it's own purchased. I review and delete it before approving threads :)

The guidelines say not to spam duplicate requests, but can I ask for my case, since it's regarding a updated beta build of a vn, am I allowed to make another request thread?

Some quick helpful information for those wanting to upload. Please take advantage of these services as many files do go down and some are a pain to re-upload:

Helpful tools:

• Multi-host uploader [Github] - Upload to multiple platforms at once.
• Temp-Mail - create temporary emails for free accounts for file hosting (good for MEGA/Mediafire) - Please ensure you ACTIVATE those accounts (Mega/Mediafire)
• Google-sheet - use this to track your upload accounts (If you use multiple accounts)

File Hosting suggestions:

• MEGA - 20GB free account, can create multiple mega accounts with disposable TEMPORARY emails
• PixelDrain - 60 day hosting as long as file is downloaded within the 60 days, it will refresh its 'active' state. Has 'prepaid' monthly storage.
  • For example, 10 EURO gave me 6 months of hosting for 500gb of files, with unlimited timer. 'File system' files never expire and is cheaper than normal hosting.
• Mediafire - 10GB free storage - files do not ever expire, may need to track multiple accounts if you wish to store a large amount of things.
• Viking File / Buzzheavier - 7 day storage, fast upload and download speeds but files expire quickly. Good for temporary files.
