Opening or using an MDF file? (Innocent Grey, Flowers game)

I downloaded InnocentGrey+Gungnir's visual novel FLOWERS from one of the links on ani-sharing, but I could not open the MDF file with my 7zip extractor? Help please! I already, downloaded several versions of FLOWERS but all cannot have the MDF opened as archive? (using 7zip 4.65)

EDIT: nevermind, finally found the problem by reinstalling a newer version of Direct X for my windows7.

... Wasn't MDF is a mountable image file for the game disc?
