Need recommendations!

Hey peeps,
Need recommendations of good manga as i'm very new to it,
I mainly read graphic novels hence never tried any manga, so any help would be really appreciated :)
Genre i'm looking for is Crime/Thriller (anything like Death Note, Steins;Gate or Film-Noir)
And the manga should be complete, i don't like reading on-going series

I really liked Monster. Its got crime and horror and mystery. yeah you should maybe check that one out.

Thanks mate but i've already seen Monster(anime version) and liked it very much :)

Maybe Boy's Abyss and Maria no Danzai although both are unhinged in their own little ways.
If you want to go outlandish with supernatural thriller, then Fire Punch is also worth mentioning.
If you want something incredibly short, then how about Brutal: Confessions of a Homicide Investigator.
