As for why people does this? allegedly to avoid dmca reports from the creators but anyone can read or use google to know what to do with the code.

Most probable reason is to avoid any software creators might use to find post with links related to them (homepage, leaked filehost links, etc...)

I think the corrupted during upload but it's still usable.

I was able to extract it by pulling up the 'part' of the file that updates during download and opening that with 7z. From there I just pulled out the video np but the actual, proper 'downloaded' file was empty.
