I somehow doubt creators actually register/file copyright protection for their works. So why do file share sites need to care? Anyone can just email and say "Hey! This is mine. Take it down." How the hell does this work?

I often get requests for Hololive,
but unfortunately I only have aqua, Chloe, and Mel.
I'm sorry I couldn't meet your expectations.

Extending on this, if you also can't (/don't want to) pay for premium, there's a trick that I discovered and might come in handy:

You can just use trash mails to create accounts. Some pikpak collections get deleted quickly, 6 GB free storage with 200 kbp/s are very restrictive so you might be too slow... but you could use lots of mails/accounts to save all the vids you are interested in / might be interested in later... and they will be saved forever until you delete them yourself.
