I wanted to travel back for a while and instead had to find out that nicovideo somewhat recently purged an absolute metric fuck ton of ancient MMD relics systematically. No backups, no archiving, nothing.
I am depressed.

Last time I was on there a month or so ago, I saw most of the oldies I remember. I think, like another user said, you just need to use a VPN for a JP IP, I dont use niconico without it nowadays. They restrict anything past a certain content rating (R-15?) to JP only afaik. I might be able to help find some if you remember what you are looking for.

I watch both the r18 and the "family friendly" version at same time. I like to watch the difference between the 2 version for personal preference.
