i try to download the file in mega ,but password always failed

got to decode the password.

ah no, this has nothing to do with that as new users rarely check the first post in the first place.

I merely wanted the information to be compact (like a pinned message) with resources to make browsing this forum thread easier.
Instead of bookmarking some website and then copy-pasting the "weird codes" back and forth, I guess I wanted to make people aware that they can just use a browser add-on that does it automatically with two simple clicks.

Of course, there could be an ongoing issue that a little bit of gatekeeping and requirement of effort is healthy and creates forum culture.

Please do not do this! Simply explaining that that base64 is used here and that there are options such as these extensions is enough. More popular extensions and unknown ones have been known to push updates with malware inside of them. Also chrome has been know to allow malware copies of the depreciated extensions.
