Reading the comments below the page, the demo was supposed to be free but the developer put a price tag just because they didn't want people to "get spoiled playing the demo"...very questionable logic but ok...

The pages for the demo and full game are separate. There's no guarantee to get the full game later after paying $15. So that's $15 for a few minutes of demo gameplay if anyone is thinking about this.

Ngl $15 (the same price with obscura) for a demo and also short game is pretty wild tho , unless they intend to expand the game more. Their reason is actually very funny because demo is kinda neccessary for people to know if they'll like the game or not before they spend their money to buy the game.
Even for short game, for example, good boy! by lunamakaio also has a demo even if their short game is a paid one.
